Chrome is super well-suited to people who use Android phones, have limited experience with internet browsers, are intimidated by new technology, and are other language learners or tech learners. Chrome is less well-suited to people who are highly experienced and have strong opinions about their browsers, and to those with greater integration with Apple or other non-Google systems.

Pentana is great for monitoring PIs and risks. We find it less helpful for monitoring projects (with the Actions module); it isn't quite flexible enough for our needs, though the support team have been very helpful in adding custom fields for us.
Security: Google Chrome is constantly updated to resolve any interoperability and or security issues.
Full App Integration: Apps and services can be quickly and easily pushed out to all users. Uniformity across Chrome ensures a repeatable user experience.
Portability and consistent environment: By hosting all services and apps remotely, users can have access to their information and communication from almost any device that has internet connectivity.

Pentana is excellent for monitoring, recording and reporting on PIs. Very easy to use the PI module.
Pentana is excellent for monitoring risks at various levels (service, strategic etc.). Risks are displayed very clearly in a tree structure and the module is relatively easy to use.
Better themes; there's great groundwork, but horribly barren and lack of quality options
Better tracking/security transparency with its users
Alert when cache slowing down performance, and quick navigation to clear this for the less tech-savvy.
Allowing file name edits within the quick-access download dropdown, without having to have this fully on or off, or having to navigate outside of Google Chrome
Embedded suggestion for quick-access extensions on homepage (with option to remove suggestions easily), for ad-blocking, accessibility, etc.

Pentana could improve the free Documents module that comes with Pentana Risk. At the moment documents have to be linked to an action in order to display query results (such as how many documents are due for review) - this can be confusing for users who don't understand why there is an action linked. There is also no easy way for users to see the documents that are assigned to them.
We would like to use the Actions module fully in order to monitor our corporate projects, but it a bit confusing for users and not very flexible when a project doesn't mirror Pentana's way of monitoring actions.
As mentioned earlier, it is a worldwide standard. It matches both the Platforms - Windows and iOS. Pages load quickly, and the website's presentation is impeccable. It needs to seamlessly integrate Google Gemini into Google Chrome. Overall, I will give 10/10 to the designer of Google Chrome.

Some modules are more user-friendly than others. It's sometimes not obvious where to click to update the fields (or even that field titles can be clicked on). We have written 'Howdys' to help users. There can also seem to be a lot of steps/clicks to updating risks and actions. The Reports module on Pentana classic is certainly not user-friendly, particularly the Report Layout and Charts modules - we were told these would be integrated into the web version but this hasn't happened yet.
Only Firefox comes close. Google Chrome is leaps and bounds above anything Microsoft has ever done in the browser space. Microsoft has lagged behind with Edge for years and continues to supply a subpar browsing experience. Google Chrome has the speed and the features to make it the best in the industry and it continues to go above and beyond where others do not keep up. With Gemini AI added, this will only continue to get better.

We selected Pentana because our neighbouring authorities are users and had spoken highly of the product and given us demonstrations; some of our staff were also familiar with Pentana when it was called Covalent. It seemed to be the best product on the market for monitoring risks, PIs and projects.
Because Google Chrome is a tool that has it all our people dont have to switch in browser they can use only Google Chrome what saves time
Because of the single use of Google Chrome our Servicedesk has to just know one application and we get half the tickets if you got 2 standard browsers.
Because Google Chrome is owned by Google it automaticly is very secure what retuns means Google Chrome has a good security. Which lead to lower security incidents

Pentana Risk has allowed my team to focus on other areas of work whereas before we would be manually chasing for updates on PIs and risk. Pentana Risk does the chasing for us!
We are able to produce reports for audit purposes very easily, rather than sending spreadsheets which is what we used to do.
New managers can easily inherit risks, projects and PIs and see all of this on a custom portal, saving them time when they start.
