Content Reporting & Analytics
Comparison of Content Reporting & Analytics features of Product A and Product B
Any publisher looking to monetize their blogs would be a great fit. The size of the publisher probably doesn't matter. They have a wide selection of advertisers and publishers can sign up for free. Advertisers that are looking for great partners for their affiliate programs would be good fits. One of the benefits is that Impact really focuses on recruiting high-quality publishers.
If your brand has a good amount of steady social content, and you like to show it on your site along with shoppable links at the catalog and also at the product level, Olapic is an easy to use utiilty and also allows you to render your Instagram feed shoppable. In our case, we had a very active social presence but did not leverage it directly for the customers to shop from it, so Olapic filled that need.
[Tint should] Improve response times in between initial quotes and questions to same-day support as promised. Overall, for our limited needs for a social media at hosted conference, it suited our needs, but would not have paid extra for customer support - you will be on your own for this one. Customer support was factored into cost, which is why it is difficult to recommend TINT.
It's a niche solution. If you're looking for niche, it's great. But if you're looking for an enterprise tool connected to many different systems and data solutions, it might not be for you.
The revenue analytics are not very reliable.
Price. This seems like it would be a great solution for medium size businesses, but the price is not feasible for the product.
Customer service: it took 10 business days to get initial questions answered from our sales contact, Matt. After we purchased the mid-grade package that came with prioritized email responses, it took 4 hours to respond to an emergency issue. We were never informed that our LinkedIn accounts would not be compatible with the Tint platform, which is significant is this is one of your main sources for content generation. After being able to jump on to a call with Alex and Customer Success in the middle of a crazy busy conference, we were promised a follow-up call to see what could be done about billing. 2 emails later and no response. I just received responses to some tickets 30+ days after event ended. Do not pay for the mid-grade package. Your emails will not be prioritized. Be sure to double check that all social media platforms you intend to use are functioning with platform before purchasing.
The auto scroll feature is a bit abrupt in transitions and would advise smoother visual when sliding between social media posts.
Better improvement on duplicate posts and pictures - many still made it through filter and generated repetitive content.
Impact has had a major impact on our business. It is pretty easy to use if you don't have multiple accounts with them, so be sure you keep things streamlined. Otherwise, it can be confusing if you have to bounce between different accounts you've applied to. While they are managed under a single login, they can be difficult to distinguish between when trying to see how successful your campaigns are.
We've been reaching out requesting support for two months and no one has responded. They completely ghosted us. We've emailed the original sales rep, our account manager, our sales rep and account manager's bosses, and others. Still no response, though I can see the emails have been opened multiple times. I've never experienced worse support.
First promoter has been a phenomenal affiliate platform to use. It has everything I need from a reporting perspective. It has everything I need from a payout perspective. It has all the links, tips, and tools I need for promoting products. Overall it is a far better tool to use
We have not used many competitors, but we stick with Olapic because of the capabilities that it offers. We don't use much of the reporting functionality, but it is a great tool to allow for collaboration between team members. It also allows us options when it comes to sharing content on the website, as it has gallary-style plug ins to display UGC.
I chose Tint because of the ability to customize and better brand for social media wall engagement. And for promised customer support, which ultimately Tint lacks. I'm a nice guy and I also believe in holding companies accountable to the high standards that are promised.
In general, we are seeing customers react to the content and use the links for shopping on our site. Their analytics is perhaps more optimistic than I believe, but content is king, and customers like to see more images of the product in more sizes and situations
We are starting to make custom brand pages and landing pages for advertising campaigns, and it's always great to add believable UGC to those pages to showcase a brand's style and general feel.
Tracking our social content is a good way to get a more generalized feel of how the brand is tracking, and who is creating content regarding our brand, so that is a beneficial side effect of constantly monitoring our tags.
