DottedSign vs. SignRequest, now part of Box

The app is quite versatile - as for me, I've been using it at work for some time and can't say that the problems that I have listed affect the general impression of the platform. Apart from using it at work, DottedSign is also pretty good for personal tasks, if you have to sign something on the go and so on. It's great for keeping track of the entire signing process and making sure everybody is on the same page with the help of reminders and such.

It works great for us; we deal with contractors in different parts of the world and it has been perfect for securing e-signatures from them and having a signed contract that both parties have access to. I'm not sure where it would be less appropriate—perhaps when there are significant legal risks or something of that nature, but with the types of transactions we've been dealing with, it's been perfect.

• Of course DottedSign isn't the first one to show how convenient e-signatures are, but in my opinion the creators really nailed it because it's both easy-to-use and also pleasant to work with due to the nice and intuitive interface and truly helpful tools.
• Another point I'd like to make is the reminders feature is really nice - anyone who hasn't yet signed their part gets an email notification to speed them along.
• Another thing that I like that there's no need to contact customer support to figure anything out - just download the app and get going.

• e-Signatures- Businesses are all working online today. Paper contracts are becoming more and more obsolete, so you need a solution that provides online contracts.
• Price- SignRequest has one of the more attractive price points for businesses.
• Usability- Our team was able to figure out how to use SignRequest without too much hassle, although some competitors have more intuitive products.

• Well, the synchronization feature isn't perfect - when you log in into your account on the browser version, for instance, you need to wait for a couple of minutes to load a file that you have already loaded in the app.
• Apart from that, the platform doesn't allow you to rotate blank windows to add a date or signatures and sometimes documents are scanned upside down, and you have to edit them subsequently, which is time consuming.

• I think the "prepare document" screen can be a little more user-friendly
• A way to keep the documents organized a bit better on the documents screen
• I would also love a way to keep the contacts organized--or to transfer contacts from our database to the site

I have found it easy to use and self-explanatory from day one. I love how clear and easy it is to use since I am not techy!

I can't say that there is something special in the work of customer support. Everything is professional and timely, but that's about it.

Easy to understand supporting documents with a great search feature to easily find the information I need for legal purposes, API connections, how to connect Gmail or G Suite, along with the ability to send a message to them. They don't seem to have an online chat feature or a call option, but that's why it's so inexpensive. Since it's already easy to use, it takes less time to find out information.

eversign wasn't quite as good because of how the interface was designed. I don't think that for a software with such simple features the interface should be so piled on. While DottedSign's interface is one of its strongest features.

Adobe Acrobat left me frustrated and annoyed. I was wasting hours each week trying to upload contracts and agreements and customize them for each client. It never sent right and ended up being more frustrating for us and our clients in the end. So I tested some other tools before coming across SignRequest in a Google search. I started with their free plan which offered so much for a small business owner. As our business grew, we upgraded and haven't looked back. From day one I've never had an issue with this tool and recommend it to anyone looking for an online easy to use software to manage signing documents and contracts

• I think after we started using DottedSign at our company, we're achieving our goals a little faster due to less time being spent on traveling to meet clients and so on, and with the process being more streamlined, it's easier. to pay attention to other parts that might have been neglected before.
• We got a bit more new clients in the last quarter, but it might be due to different reasons, but I think DottedSign played a part.
• Also, having all the newly signed contracts digitized and available on the cloud gives us a peace of mind.

• Positive impact - able to complete onboarding process electronically rather than ask new employees to complete documents and scan them back
• Negative impact - have heard from several employees that the UI makes it tedious to complete documents that have a lot of fields
