The dashboard on Lambda was a lot easier and more intuitive to use, BS may have offered the latest devices quicker but Lambda was never far behind and when comparing the two the experience with Lambda was a lot quicker and more fluid. The way the option were laid out was clean …
For market research companies that require survey testing, this tool is highly beneficial. I highly recommend it for everyone, especially when testing surveys across multiple devices and browsers. It is incredibly easy to use—simply add your survey link, select the desired device or browser, and start testing. This ensures a smooth and efficient testing process.
Best suited where frontend developments are in React and where BDD and TDD test frameworks are to be used. Its syntax is very easy to write and understand. Even the non-programmer can do the initial setup. Not suited when the language you are using is other than Javascript(or Typescript).
wdio.conf can contain too much where everything is encapsulated there, like the before and after functions
A data provider-like testing would be useful. The only way to input different data into the same test is via a loop
everything is needed to be done using the 'browser' object. Can be limiting where you don't have access to the browser depending on where you are in the code
It is very reliable and can provide great results for all the stakeholders. Access is very quick and there are wide-array of devices that can be used to provide a robust application. Having limited resources on a remote setup really helps users to complete task with this emulator. This helps a lot in development team.
Using LambdaTest feels pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. The platform has a clean interface so jumping between different features isn’t much work. things feel smooth in UI automation. It takes some time to understand the overall once that is done it'll become easier. The detailed test logs and visual regression features especially stand out in helping you identify issues quickly without extra effort.
The customer support team is very active and cooperative. Once, I contacted them in their off timings because of an issue, I got an instant reply from the executive and he resolved the issue very efficiently. This is why we have been using LambdaTest for more than two years. It is best suited for us.
LambdaTest offers me a large number of real-time mobile devices and browsers for testing, as well as debugging tools like Screenshot Testing and Issue Tracker. This is what I like the most about LambdaTest and prefer it over Sauce Labs. Additionally, my team has reported faster testing speeds with LambdaTest compared to SauceLabs
Other tools we selected don't work in our application, it does or doesn't support multiple frames or need more tweaking just to make it works. When testing out WebdriverIO it just works as expected, no need to do such walk around to make it works multiple frames. It also can handle multiple tabs and windows.
