Latitude Collections (legacy) vs. SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)

As a consulting company specializing in the support of Latitude by Genesys customers, I have first hand experience seeing all of the benefits to my customers of this platform. The ease of powerful interfaces, highly organized GUI based workflows, simple import/export automation as well as a host of integrated vendors makes this the platform of choice for me and my company. Prior to starting my consulting company I was an end user of Latitude by Genesys for 3 years and had the distinct opportunity to work with a top notch implementation team.

SAP Cloud ERP is best suited for medium- to large-sized organizations seeking scalability, real-time insights, and standardized processes. It will help them streamline financial operations & core HR functions, optimize inventory management & procurement process. Its intelligent automation will help them automate repetitive, routine tasks and use machine learning for predictive analysis.

• In the past, their support has been slow. This has improved dramatically.
• They don't take every one of my ideas and pump it into base code IMMEDIATELY!!

• The beginner's user-friendly UI can help learners learn easily, and it feels a bit complex.
• Implementation of AI bot on common tasks.
• There are no offline functionality that users can use remotely.
• As the scalability of the products grows, they become more expensive.

The cost of SAP as an ERP is quite high and the switching costs associated with ERP systems are even higher. That being said moving from one ERP to another only happens once in a great while for large organizations. Those switching costs include retraining, IT hardware requirements, outside consultants and more

From our perspective, it would be good having a UGC tool integrated with the system.

SAP Cloud ERP is a useful solution for automating and streamlining business processes. It offers modern technologies such as built-in AI, machine learning, and real-time data analytics. It offers multi-currency, multi-language support to manage international operations smoothly. They have an excellent support team. It was more helpful if they were available by phone, but your ticket system support works good. The Logmein123 is an outstanding tool that helps us a lot when we need support.

The support system I find great as whenever I run into problems they rectify them quickly as possible they never reacted late the support is just up to the mark for me. They provide many solutions to the problems I faced the [technical] team support is always amazing they [listen] to mean work accordingly.

SAP requires
a lot of internal and external resources to complete its successful
implementation. The cloud version requires a deeper understanding of the
different capabilities of the local systems (hardware) and the connection
towards your local IT team. We found several problems on our systems that we
couldn't foresee before the implementation and roll out.

Base on cost of initial investment, ongoing support and efficient development capabilities (i.e. import/export interfaces, workflows, etc.) this platform is leaps and bounds ahead of all the other major platforms I have worked with. Some of the others I worked with for as many as 12 years before experiencing the power of Latitude.

The platform utilizes advanced predictive analytics to anticipate operational bottlenecks and put them out of commission before the problems become larger. We can proactively develop effective strategies that help keep service quality in the face of unexpected changes in the market, or external disruptions, by continuously analyzing historical performance data as well as elements of the current market

• It help us a lot to manage our day to day business.
• It helps our users to produce invoices and handling payment plans in a very efficient way.

• Surpasses many well reputed applications in terms of performance and data insight when you are into SAP products
• More reliable and secure as we are not going to create multiple copy of master data, one single shared master data and all will work like charm
• For authentication we can also use Microsoft MFA or Google single sign-on , so less complexity
• For customized business process, we can implement extension packages which are like templates
