Love that Learndot has Stripe integration, love the fact that all of our registration now happens on a single website instead of having courses listed on one site and then having to go to Eventbrite for the actual registration. Love that it integrates with SFDC and WebEx.

Skilljar Customer Education Software

Ultimately, we've been happy with it but the biggest gap we've experienced is the lack of ability to dig in and make sense of analytics. Other than that, it has certainly met our needs at the specific phase we're in and the pace we're producing content. We have a bit of a different use case compared to other tech companies so we're probably also using the platform in a different way than most.

  • The design is simple. If you're looking for a complex or beautiful platform, this isn't it. However, Skilljar makes things very easy to follow and build within.
  • Navigating Skilljar is very logical. it is easy to set up a new course and navigate within that course.

  • No preview or testing capabilities-- getting around this requires a ton of unnecessary duplicative pages and courses.
  • No bulk actions, so copying lessons into multiple courses is extremely tedious.
  • Learning paths are missing a lot of functionality that standalone courses have.
  • Doesn't integrate well with Rise360 and other authoring tools.

It is easy and intuitive to figure out! I was brand new in January to the role and responsibilities and I instantly felt comfortable in Skilljar. It's also generally easy for learners to figure out which is the most important. The only thing that isn't as usable is the analytics. It's hard to find exactly what you are looking for sometimes.

Skilljar’s customer support team is completely invested in the success of their customers. We felt very supported from the first day of on-boarding onward. Our regular check-in calls were very helpful for us--they allowed us to bring any issues to the surface and they worked through them with us on the spot. They often suggested new workflows based on specific use cases as well as improvements to existing workflows.

Skilljar Customer Education Software

Skilljar is way better than AITalent LMS in that it doesn't have ALL the clunkiness that Talent has. Talent from a user standpoint is difficult to use and they really don't seem to want to improve because they hardly ever take notable steps to improve the look and the use of the product. Talent is way cheaper though.
