Overall Satisfaction with Skilljar Customer Education Software

Skilljar allows us to host content for self-paced courses that are relevant and accessible to our audience. It also includes integrations with Credly that supports our badging program. The provided analytics allow us to make informed decisions about next steps. There is also a high degree of customization available to suit the interface to our needs.

The interface is clean and easy to use. It provides straightforward WYSIWYG editing and quick publishing tools. Analytics are fairly easy to navigate, as well. HTML code can be edited directly, but it can be a bit difficult as it appears as plain text with no color-coding or error checking. In spite of this, the code snippets feature is very useful in providing customizations.
Support is normally very responsive with a solution, and they consistently follow up. My Customer Support Manager knows who I am and stays on top of the latest developments in our account so I do not have to re-explain situations multiple times or provide context repeatedly. Most issues are solved fairly rapidly, and when a feature is not available, they are honest about it.

Skilljar provides stronger customization features, more code snippet options, more styling tools, and more effective integrations. These include Credly, Salesforce, and SCORM. Additionally, the catalog is all part of the same system, making it easy to manage. The analytics tools are also more robust, and the customer service is much more helpful and responsive.
Skilljar is well suited to self-paced courses that need to be accessed by users in any location at any time. It hosts a variety of content that adult learners can use to upskill in the areas that are relevant to them. While you can host live virtual events through the platform, it is not ideal for situations where regular student interactions or instructor facilitation is needed, as there is not a discussion forum feature.
