Overall Satisfaction with Skilljar Customer Education Software

Skilljar is the hub of our product & tech stack ecosystem for customers, partners, and internals. It is used to increase product proficiency, reduce support dependencies, and help customers realize a faster ROI through self-led micro-learnings, learning paths, and certifications. It can also be used for internal training and works great for role based product and toolset training.
  • Unlimited courses, learning paths, quizzes, pages, plans, and certifications
  • Ease of use for students, administrators, and content creators
  • Customer Success and Service are top notch. The CSMs are genuinely committed to helping you achieve your metrics and goals
  • Asking for and listening to customer feedback for enhancements
  • Developer Center where people with little to no coding experience can learn how to use and apply HTML templates and code snippets to customize your site
  • Difficult to integrate learning data with other systems unless an add-on is purchased
  • Gamification is lacking however, new features are in the works so solve for this
  • Limited integrations for payment processing
Course navigation options make it simple for students to find the content they need. Also by using a code snippet in the Skilljar Developer Center, an administrator can setup a course so that a student only has to click once to register, start, and launch the course. The administrator dashboard is intuitive.
I rarely have to contact Support but the few times I have, they have been quick to respond with answers. The Customer Success team is amazing. They become your trusted advisor to help ensure your programs are successful. They take the time to learn about your goals and desired business impacts to help craft ways to implement and track your programs and initiatives. Ease of use for an administrator and small team, ability to customize without having to pay for professional services, level of service from the vendor.
Skilljar works extremely well for customer and partner training, specifically self-led training like micro-learning, elearning, and learning paths. Skilljar is a good choice for internal training if your needs are more around product training. From an administrator perspective, it's very easy and intuitive to upload content, create pages, pull reports, and overall maintenance making is possible for small teams (even a team of one) to manage. The Skilljar APIs make it simple to integrate into other systems like your CRM, advocacy platform, webinar platforms, etc.
