Chose MailerLite
I haven't used any others, but I was considering Mailchimp
Chose MailerLite
I moved over from Mailchimp because it became too expensive. MailerLite gives me even more value for a better price.
Chose MailerLite
Cheaper, mainly. And a little more user-friendly. Some other platforms, especially Klaviyo, are quite complex to understand and to get the most out of.
Chose MailerLite
The company I wanted to mention isn't in your dropdown list: BEACONS. While they're more like LinkTree, they also have a great feature to build a newsletter following and their AI prompts encourage you to send more newsletter blasts and then help write the e-mail for you with …
Chose MailerLite
Let's just say it's easier to use and more satisfying. Let's leave it at that ;)
Chose MailerLite
Just easier to use, better pricing (when we get there) and better free applications
Chose MailerLite
MailerLite's price point is way more affordable, Klaviyo has more design freedom in terms of the layout and structure of the email content.
Chose MailerLite
MailerLite's billing plan is more simple and fit my budget better.
Chose MailerLite
MailerLite allows tags and the whole visual experience seems a lot clearer.
Support was the major factor though, everything points to MailerLite having better support - certainly today has proved that for me. I received support within 10min, my issue was fixed and my first …
Chose MailerLite
I used Mailchimp with another employer, and found that MailerLite is both easier to use (as the content creator, and list manage) and has more features (like scheduling email delivery) at a lower monthly price point. Also, they do not insert a (potentially offensive) logo at …
Chose MailerLite
Selected MailerLite for the features + price. They blow the competition out of the water on price... and back it up with the best customer service.

Moosend specifically is overpriced for very few features, and zero support.
Chose MailerLite
I couldn't understand Mailchimp at all and found it very unhelpful and not intuitive.
Chose MailerLite
Mailerlite was easier to set up than Mailchimp but really disliked being held to their billing plans without much customer support
Chose MailerLite
I use Mailerlite to send out weekly newsletters to my readers. The tool is easy to use, produces a lovely result, and gives me lots of flexibility. If I ever have issues, their technical support is amazing. Very responsive and knowledgeable, and my issue is typically resolved …
Chose MailerLite
Hands down, MailerLite is a superior product to Mailchimp.
  1. they're clear about how much you're going to spend per month
  2. they don't gauge you for unsubscribed accounts
Chose MailerLite
Better design features, user interface, and deliverability.
Chose MailerLite
I can not stand Mailchimp; nothing is easy in Mailchimp, whereas MailerLite somehow makes the whole process even enjoyable!
Chose MailerLite
No comparison. That's why I'm now with MailerLite.
The other company name that shall not be spoken had hidden fees and wasn't always upfront with clients and changed policies on a whim. I am totally team MailerLite now and have no plans of ever changing. And I've shared that …
Chose MailerLite
A bit pricey, but no issues with customer service or account termination while testing.
Chose MailerLite
Automation is the key feature that sold me. I had it for free and a generous 12k sends monthly for 1000 or less subscribers. I will surely upgrade soon once I exhaust the list. Currently at 600+ as of writing.

For everything else, their customization is on par with Mailchimp and …
Chose MailerLite
MailerLite has similar features to the tools mentioned above. The main advantage is that it is very complete in its free version. This is ideal for those who are starting out and want to try a complete email marketing platform.
Chose MailerLite
MailerLite doesn't portray political slanted marketing (yes, that's important to me and I fired Mailchimp because they didn't even answer me when I asked them about particular images they had on their front page). MailerLite was highly recommended to me by other users. …

Mailerlite
The tool is really very complete. I have created regular campaigns, Workflows, and A/B tests in my campaigns and I have not had any limitations. I have tried other platforms that are not as complete in the free version like MailerLite. This makes me want to upgrade to the premium version and I'm sure you will get the same benefits.

Pros
Mailerlite
  • Offers a user-friendly interface, making it simple to create beautiful forms, group subscribers, and automate emails.
  • Includes email automation workflows in their free plan - the only provider I know of that doesn't charge you after one month or hit you with "transaction fees".
  • Excellent video tutorial library so you can learn email marketing as a beginner without feeling overwhelmed.

Cons
Mailerlite
  • I would add more types of inbox previews so people can see their campaigns across more channels
  • Mailerlite could definitely use a few more default fields, and more field types. This is an area where we get stuck writing more custom fields than we like. I want to see a variety of fields, from text box, to radio buttons, drop downs and more date options.
  • Custom fields should be able to be organized according to the list type. Custom fields that are added show up on ALL subscriber profiles, so if you were building a list that had a field for the type of pet someone had because you run a Dog Walking Business, but also had a list that only served Sponsors, that dog walking option would show up on all your subscriber types. If there's a way to change this and I missed it, my bad, but I haven't yet found that to be the case.
  • I'd really like to see Mailerlite have the option of adding a subscriber midway through the process, and a RESEND option, whether that is to non-openers or people who are new to a list. While you can set up drip campaigns or triggers to send certain emails when people change their status, it seems a bit too time consuming.
  • I'd love to see a date specific reminder email template for meetings. That would be awesome and speed things up quite a bit.

Mailerlite is awesome and it does everything I need and then some. They're always innovating and adding new features, and their team is flippin' amazing. Can't see myself ever switching. They may not have everything, but looking at how well their team works, they'll get there for sure and I'm willing to wait.

Mailerlite
  • Gives us the ability to track the popularity of content in our email as well as who has read the content.
  • The customizable layout gives us the opportunity to be creative and have our culture shine through our company communication.
  • The ability to see who has un-subscribed helps our HR department to see who isn't receiving important company information so we can ask them to re-subscribe.
  • Helps our company to be more transparent and communicate more effectively.
