This is particularly well built for a scaled dynamic business like an edtech where you need to constantly push someone to complete their course and how MoEngage does this well is because they have their suite of AI to help you with retention and lifecycle campaigns

If you really care a lot about the authenticity and other aspects of SMS to you user that it should reach on time, without lag and security then MSG91 is best suited to do this job. But if you are doing just some promotional email or not so important updates for the users then you can go for a different vendor also which also supports bulk messaging.

• Very good documentation for the integration of APIs.

• More complex use cases cannot be catered
• MoEngage has bugs that hinder operations

• After updation in some of policies of TRAI in India the documents needs update
• Some of the API's have became complicated after recent updates
• If there could be some alert mechanism that can help to know about reaching quota, or downtime alerts

There is still area of improvement in UI since it's cluncky and there is a noticable lag as well

It's good and mostly on-time support. But they have a lot of demand, hence at times, they take some time to get back to us. Overall, they know their game and most of the people we spoke with knew their domain very well.

These have nearly the same features, an almost 90% overlap. Pricing- and support-wise MoEngage is better. Also, it's good for both app and web, whereas CleverTap is mostly mobile-centric and WebEngage is web-centric.

After going through all of them we felt MSG91 is more cleaner in terms of integration details and also the support by their tech team. Integration wish Twilio was very good but the dashboard and other features which MSG91 provides were somewhat similar or easy to understand for our team.

• Enables the team to focus on more events that could generate better results
• Schedule with APIs allows more scalable operations

• As compared to the price MSG91 is value for money for the things we get
• The SMS rates are not so high and you can easily use for small to enterprise level company.
• The dashboard of MSG91 helps a lot in understanding whats going wrong and can be improved.
