SEOptimer vs. Yext

Monitor Backlinks is perfect for any small business that has a website. Every website gets hit with spammy backlinks, and being able to identify and remove them is critical to online success, and in preventing the Google penalty. In addition, it helps SEOs locate good backlinks they might not know about, which can then be posted on social networks and social bookmarking sites to generate more referral traffic. I would not recommend Monitor Backlinks for a business that does not have a website, or for a business that only has a blog.

We have multiple branch locations throughout our market area. It's very challenging to manage the web listings for each location, with a large volume of listings across numerous platforms for each of those locations. Yext significantly reduces the workload by allowing me to make a single update and Yext automatically pushes the notifications across the other platforms

• Yext provides information within the portal on how you can enhance your listings as well as how you can fix any issues with your listings that may exist.
• Yext's dedicated account managers can help you with any issues that may arise. For example our location pin on Apple Maps was wrong on one of our clinic listings and our Yext account manager reached out directly to Apple support and fixed the issue.

While I work for a digital marketing agency, and this is second nature to me at this point, I do believe the average SMB owner with zero digital marketing experience could be a proficient Yext user within 1 hour or so of usage. Does not give the deep dive analysis that these other tools give but sometimes that's too overwhelming for a potential client. We use this tool to whet the appetite of a new potential client. This is a great tool to give them a White Labeled report that outlines the larger issues that will need to be addressed to improve a website.

We initially chose Yext because it provided the greatest control for our multiple listings. Plus, it had access to the most publishers. However, when evaluating Synup we were very impressed. You would not go wrong to choose either!

• Our website's domain authority increased about four months after we started using Monitor Backlinks. I identified a long list of potentially spammy links and submitting a disavow link request to Google, and they were disavowed after about two months.
• It would be too difficult to put a number on the ROI, but Monitor Backlinks has definitely helped make a positive impact on our SERP. Being able to quickly pinpoint bad links and disavow them helps improve our domain authority, page authority, and trust scores.
