• Incredibly easy to use interface for the User (parents, applicants, etc.).
• Ease of gathering data - Helpful lists, formulas, and reports.
• Time saver - Especially in the Admission office. Since everything is done digitally from the user through the employee, there is no need to hand-enter data; you just click the button, and everything imports or exports as needed!

• PowerSchool houses student or staff information that can be easily accessed by those teachers and administrators who need the information. This allows everyone to go to one place to access information.
• Parents can view their child's grades at any time with their protected login on a parent portal. This allows teachers to keep parents informed and involved in their child's progress at school. When everyone works together it increases our students' chance for success.
• PowerSchool offers videos to train new users. When we have new employees, the videos can be accessed at any time the employee needs as opposed to them waiting for someone to help them.

• It takes a long time to learn to navigate the interface. It's not always very intuitive
• While the knowledgebase and support are generally helpful, when you are looking for a quick answer to something it's not always easy to access quickly. Knowledgebase takes a lot of time to navigate to find just what you want.
• Report building is a skill that takes time to learn and there aren't a lot of training options to learn it. I've had to learn by trial and error.

• Does not consistently communicate with related software such as Illuminate for Special Education Students.
• Drop down menus frequently refresh as data is entered which slows down the user's ability to enter information.
• Icons are sometimes unclear and not easily understandable. Word labels for some items might be more effective.

• Connect RE is awesome and saves so much time versus manually updating information in both the Core and Raiser's Edge systems.
• We are about to upgrade to Tuition Management which will pull data from Core and save so much time on manual entry! Plus, it will be so much easier for parents to pay on time through a credit card versus a check, therefore, improves our ROI drastically.
• Ideally, Raiser's Edge NXT web view would have all of the capabilities as a database view, but I know it will take some time to get there. The Database view is just extremely outdated looking and not in the Cloud, so I can't log in to it from just any computer without downloading Citrix. Can be frustrating sometimes with how slow it is.

• It has created shortcuts for all staff members, saving us time.
• In creating shortcuts and combining many different systems into one, it is saving our school money.
• It has created a safety net for teachers because grades and student information is stored electronically, which means teachers not having to worry about losing or misplacing their grade books.
