Paycom is an automated HCM platform, built on a single database that eliminates redundant data entry through automation. A payroll and HR software solution, Paycom is used by organizations of all sizes to access employee data without navigating multiple systems.
According to me, OrangeHRM is best suited for small to medium-sized organizations for [the] management of their employee's records and attendance/leave management. Also, [the] applicant tracking system is [a] very useful feature of this application. OrangeHRM needs to add more features in order to cater requirements of a large-scale organization. Payroll management, learning management, and grievance handling features should be added or improved.
It’s very well suited for companies that have multiple locations and multiple types of employees. We use it in both states, and the mobile app works really well. I think that any company, from small to large, like zero to 10,000, probably works really well with it.
I know it's going to sound generic, but everything. I like the way that you guys own every product because it's very seamless. Everything kind of leads into the other sections. You don't have to go to different places to get different items done. I love how when you do a PAF, you can open up a requisition and you can move people and change their pay and that kind of stuff. I also like that you can have discussions with employees and like I told you, it's very good for us because they can't get on their email all the time, but I can have daily discussions with them if I need something in a hurry. So those kinds of features are what I think you guys do phenomenally, especially for an organization like ours.
The one area that I think I would make recommendations to change is in performance management. I believe that the already built-in formats for 360-degree reviews and for standard performance management reviews could use a bit more flexibility of customization. For example, the number of raters, how the calculations are made in terms of the metrics, and the final scores of those reviews are all elements that are programmed by Paycom. If we wish to pursue a slightly different model, we are restricted to those changes that Paycom has anticipated and not locked out. If there was a little more adaptability built into this module, I think it would be an improvement.
we are having no problems with how the system works and our support system at paycom is the best - we are learning more and using the system in more ways all the time the only thing that could be better is pricing on some things
They’re very helpful. If you need to know how to use products, they have a lot of user guides, but I just wouldn’t rate it a 10 just because 10 would be me not needing to put much effort in from any of my specialists and I do use them.
In 6 years, we've never had a bad experience with client support. We implemented during COVID, and I was the only person in HR at the time. I was also having to homeschool our children, which meant bizarre work hours and limited time to focus on platform build at times. There were nights that I was literally on calls at 11 pm and the implementation team was unbelievably supportive. Recently, a Position Seat specialist came on site to help us set up for our 5 client codes - the experience was transformative for how we use the platform and an absolute game changer. I trust Paycom because I trust our representatives. They truly are strategic partners for us, and work to ensure we're maximizing the platform and that our needs are being met
Tadd and Ellie have been great! They have show us many aspects that implementation did not. They are very personable and action oriented as well. Anytime we need them they offer to swing in.
It was good, but hard to know what questions you need to ask until you actually get in there and start working with a live product. But Paycom is also very helpful every time I call and can't figure something out. Nathan has been very friendly and helpful no matter what I call him about. He is always eager to help out.
Not at all satisfied it was a nightmare we spent over 8 months with the implementation team having issues after issues all related to the Puerto Rico regulations (half my employees are in Puerto Rico) and at the end we were moved over from the implementation team to the production team without all the issues being resolved
I like PayPal because, as I said, I haven't had any issues. I haven't had to call any of the representatives. I can't think of the main work for the company logo, but that's for a larger company, so I've only used it for smaller companies that don't work for that, but it integrates more and adapts to one. That's probably my first one. But this is probably my second-best company. Workday is the best that you can use. It's like having an Apple computer, because as I said, it can integrate different products into one and adjust them. I don't think about a lot of products that can do that. So it's easy to EDI feed information in there, and Workday will qualify. So that's what makes them stand out above everybody else, but it's for large companies.
I do like the analytics, the data analytics that it has. I do think that there's room for them to be a little more accurate. As far as there was a lot of frustrations, growing pains when we first implemented, and I think that those have gotten better, but it does take time. I think when you're transitioning from any HRI system to another, they're going to be growing pains. So we're still working through that.
