Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

I am an HR Director, we use Paycom for recruiting, onboarding, payroll, reports, position changes, reviews...... Paycom seems to have great reporting aspects and is pretty user friendly. We've only been using Paycom for about 10 months and the more we use it, the more we like it.

Pros

  • Track attendance Points
  • Creates Personal Action forms and makes them easier to manage
  • Allows a wide range of reporting that can be very useful to any company
  • Helps a lot with onboarding process
  • Helps us out with recruiting
  • Helps with E-verify process

Cons

  • There is a lot of information in Paycom, so sometimes it can be a little overwhelming
  • It's given us better control of our employees
  • It's given us up to date reviews and reports
  • Once we fully learn the entire program, I'm sure it will save us time also
Paycom has a lot of different tools and information. It's way better than the platform we were using in the past. I've used Paycor, they were horrible and I've also used Paylocity, they weren't bad but don't have as much information as Paycom does. Paycom is awesome!!!
Paycom is 100 times better than Paycor. Paycor was very simple, and wouldn't give you the information you needed. Their reports were horrible.

Paycom has a wide range of reports that we can access that are useful to upper management and accounting. It give the employees more access to their accounts so they can make changes, employees are able to enroll in benefits right off the Paycom App, view items and keep up with reviews, disciplinary actions and much much more.

Yes, we were able to get much better reporting from Paycom, it's wonderful, I love the fact that we can get so much more information and in different ways out of Paycom.
Yes, there have been so many times, it's hard to pick just one. Anytime I call in for anything, everyone is very helpful. Nathan always checks back in with me to make sure everything is going well. He's on top of things. He helped me with an issue with our EDI files. For some reason the term dates were not showing up on the vendors end when the files were being sent over. He got this resolved for me quickly.
The Leaders manage the employees much better with access to the PAF's and reports on exception points and many other things. Paycom gives them lots of good and valuable information. Training is done much easier and quicker through Paycom also.

And the Employees have access to all their information. It's great because they can change their W-2, DD, contact information. They have it all at their fingertips. I especially like the fact that they can request time/days off through the Paycom App, that is a very helpful tool.

Using Paycom

90 - Machine Operators, Admin, Packing Operators, Assembly, Warehouse, IT, Customer Service, Accounting, Executive Team.
2 - The 2 HR individuals are the only in-house support we have at this time, but that works for the amount of employees we currently have.

We wanted the new hires to be able to complete their onboarding process through their cell phones instead of having to log in to an actual laptop or desktop.

Paycom Training

It was good, but hard to know what questions you need to ask until you actually get in there and start working with a live product. But Paycom is also very helpful every time I call and can't figure something out. Nathan has been very friendly and helpful no matter what I call him about. He is always eager to help out.

I don't think we have premium support, but I'm not 100% sure if we did or did not. I would assume that if we did not, it probably would have been because of cost.

Using Paycom

A lot of things Yessenia and I just figured out on our own by playing with the system and seeing what the results are. If we have issues and can't get what we are looking for, then we call for help.

I didn't have to do this, Paycom pulled all the information out of our previous payroll provider and added it to Paycom.
