Orangescrum vs. RedTeam Flex

This is a good thing for medium/large companies for inside the company and/or for interacting with remote employees/freelancers. As the program facilitates the interaction between employees and managers it speeds up the distribution of tasks and allows managers to identify possible problems on the fly. For indie developers - it's a little expensive.

RedTeam does a good job of allowing the company to view information in a way that is helpful to them. The superintendents out in the field don't necessarily need to see all of the same information that the people in the office do, so field share has been great for helping them manage their projects and submit daily reports of job progress. I can see this program working for both small and large companies and with a few tweaks, I might rate it even higher.

• We tested the free version of the program. It improved communication within the team.
• Allowed to trace performance and time spent on tasks. Each team member was aware of the status of the tasks and could plan their work.
• Simplified interaction with managers, as it could present the results in the form of Gantt charts.

• Building a proper estimate/proposal
• Managing the project from start to finish, including any changes
• The accounting process works well with our quickbooks, making the process for accounting easy

• The program interface is overloaded. Especially when there is little time for a detailed description of the tasks.
• I would like a faster way to publish the result at the completion of the task.
• Projects and tasks are two different workspaces/pages. Personally, it would be more convenient to combine these things.

• Inability to delete certain information such as old duplicate vendors, contacts, etc.
• I run into a lot of road blocks with obscure permissions
• Some reports have issues when printing

Trello was excellent, but we did not choose it because of the price and relatively positive feedback from employees using Orangescrum who wanted the easiest and fastest way to create reports so as not to be distracted from work (as a two-click report).

Procore is [a] product that we [are] familiar with as well because a few other companies that we have partnered with use Procore. The program is a good CPM, but RedTeam stands out to our company for the customer service. Over the years we have been able to communicate opportunities to make something more efficient and they have implemented some of those suggestions. That is invaluable to us.

• It accelerated the work of the team, but the mastering of the program interface was slow.
• The interface is not intuitive. It proved to be quite complicated.
• For managers, the program has facilitated reporting and streamlined team tracking.

• It has eliminated the need for hundreds of spreadsheets for each job and has saved time overall
• It allows all facets of the company to see information as they need to see it
• It's a central place for everyone to store and access information rather than having files all over individual computers.
