Likelihood to Recommend SendPulse is great if you want to connect with your list on a more personal basis, and making sure that your email reaches your subscriber when it is best for him/her. You can also use the SMS function (though I haven't used it yet). Let's say you have clients and want to send a message to them automatically on their birthday, SendPulse allows you to do that. It allows you to add in specific fields that are relevant to you, in order to customise your messaging as much as you want and need.
Read full review It works great as an onsite relay to provide email sending functionality without having to pass through the firewall in order to reach the Office 365 gateway. This is particularly evident when using older programs. A lot of the older, no longer developed, programs will only allow a hard coded port to send email. Office 365 uses a non-standard SMTP port for security. This does not allow the hard coded SMTP ports to use this service. Exchange gives you the control to change those ports and securely use the standards without compromise.
Read full review Pros One of the best features of this software is its user interface. I found it very intuitive. It has sms feature also which is a great add-on to this software. It has live chat support feature. And I find it very helpful when i find any technical problem. Read full review It allows us to send email through the secure email gateway. We are able to track and scan all email communications It provides a way for legacy and current applications to send out notification and mass email communications. Read full review Cons I like its Drag and Drop function to design e-mailers but it lacks in some functionalities. Foe example when I write two different contents in a same box I need a line to show separation between my contents in the same box but this feature is unavailable in SendPulse. They should include more fonts. Every product or service needs different kind of fonts to make a right impact on customers. With limited option of fonts it restricts user's creativity. It is good to have templates to give users some idea for designing campaigns but here SendPluse has nothing much to offer. They have very limited number of templates. Read full review As with any technology on a server, we sometimes see issues with downtime related to network changes or firewall updates. It can be a challenge to work with some of our older applications when the TLS feature is used. I wish there was a more direct way to reliably use SMTP for mass email sends without the fear of being blacklisted. Read full review Usability I find that overall SendPulse is very intuitive to use and the support is there to help you out in case you don't find how to do what you wish to do. The drag and drop functionalities make it easy to create the newsletters you want. Every field is explained and small tutorials are included to show you how to create a new template, newsletter, etc. which makes it very easy to use.
Read full review Support Rating Every time I contacted the support team with a question or a problem, they were very fast in replying and helping me out solve it. Usually latest within 10 minutes I would receive a first answer, and the problem would get solved on the same day.
Read full review Implementation Rating When implementing SendPulse, it is a good idea to have a transition phase where you still use both systems, in case anything goes wrong.
Read full review Alternatives Considered For SendPulse's price point, I consider their competition to be the likes of
Mailchimp ,
ConstantContact , etc. While SendPulse rates roughly average across the board in all areas, for businesses looking for the cheapest option (which comes with a lack of features/quality),
ConstantContact beats them. For quality/features/value, I'd say
Mailchimp is the best option for small businesses.
Read full review Office 365 does use secure non-standard ports for SMTP connectivity causing a problem with older programs. SMTP Email Delivery from Exchange solves this problem by giving the network admin full control over ports and specific program connections. While we do use both Office 365 and the SMTP Email Delivery we find that a mix is needed in order to meet all expectations for our end users. The majority of our SMTP communications, for users, go through Office 365 while the majority of our applications and servers do go through the SMTP Email Delivery service.
Read full review Return on Investment Tapping NRI clients with this software helps me in generating good revenue in last financial year. I grow my NRI database by 60 in last year. And this software played a major role in doing so. It made brand building very easy among my clients. Read full review It's the easiest way to send mail out. No worries about complex configurations. It can be finicky when used in a hybrid Office 365 environment to get the proper pathways secured and working. I wish there were a better way to send out mass emails, on-site, without our domain or server IP being blacklisted. Read full review ScreenShots
