Skrill vs. Yooz

Skrill is my preferred way of doing money transactions abroad typically when I need a safe secured and efficient way of sending money overseas and the amount is low. Most other portals tend to charge a transfer fee for lower amounts but Skrill does not charge a transaction fee when I use the ACH Transfer even for lower amounts. For personal use, I have used the debit card to fuel transactions and it allows you the same facility as the debit card. If I need to complete the transaction within a day and want the money to be available in the receiving account overseas the same day, I prefer another portal that has the option of express service that Skrill does not offer.

Yooz is perfect for reoccurring invoices, such as utilities, as you can search by account# to show a list of entries allowing consistency across the board. Color coding can be used to differentiate between utilities or responsibilities. This also helps when exporting specific items. I can select one by one or by group.

• It is a global payment processor that accepts payments from all around the world.
• Because of the high security requirements for signing in, no one can readily access the account.

• Yooz allowed for the uploading of purchase orders and the matching of purchase orders to invoices for smooth processing of invoices.
• Yooz performed three way matching in a stream lined manner.
• Yooz was a user friendly software that integrated well with Oracle NetSuite.

• Skrill's UI can be bloated and slow sometimes, and overcomplicated
• There are some issues with localization and language, some concepts didn't see to be translated properly
• What an e-wallet is, is not super clear to potential users

• when exporting we have to change the total column's to numbers or it will export with the incorrect totals.
• Yooz needs to not allow itself to add a line to the total and change what you are posting. instead it needs to freeze you from moving on.

We ended up using Tipalti which seems to have solved our specific needs better, though it is more expensive.

Because it's simple to use, works well since we have first set it up and we never had any issues with it.

It has helped me with invoices and able to see if i have a duplicate and to see how many times vendor has been processed in the system and also to see who is late if it has been in yooz and it needs to get paid soon and also how many coding i have used

I use different payment systems depending on the goal. Skrill is good when my contractor prefers this way of payment. Also, Skrill is a preferred payment option in many online services, which makes it easy to use. Also, Skrill issues a real plastic Visa card you can use like any bank card.

Chrome River is slow and full of inconsistencies. Capturing invoices is confusing, as you have to assign approvers and coding at that time. No time to save it and research those details. It has multiple screens labeled inbox but are for different stages in the approval process that aren't specified unless you go into the invoice and review. When you go to exit the invoice, it takes you back to the main menu instead of the inbox you were currently working in. It is live, but the updates are every 10-15 minutes as opposed to immediately.

• I can quickly deposit my international multi-currency account without making an expensive wire transfer, with no border restriction as long as I have the mobile app with me.
• Skrill is very convenient for each transfer amount up to EURO 2,500, and EURO 15,000/monthly.
• Possibility of hiring freelancers for my company with immediate payments.

• Yooz has delivered a positive ROI for our AP function by reducing invoice processing time and cost, accelerating approvals, and improving control over duplicate/exception handling.
• Cost per invoice down through automation like less paper/postage.
• Easy to find the invoice by using invoice number.
