Chose TeamGantt
TeamGantt was the most familiar name amongst them all. Because I had also used TeamGantt before, it was easier to bring this one is above the others. They all have their perks, but I felt that TeamGantt had that ease of use and familiarity which gave them the edge over the …
Chose TeamGantt
I use Basecamp with our Marketing Firm because that is what they already had in place. It is also a good tool. I enjoy, however the task oriented project environment of TeamGantt for organizing and planning my newsletter. I like the GanttChart view a lot.
Chose TeamGantt
Clarizen One was not keeping some important features. TeamGantt offers a spotless perspective on the Gantt diagram and outwardly is ideal to see who is chipping away at what assignments by the bar. However, what leads me to buy this product is its sharing abilities. This joined …
Chose TeamGantt
TeamGantt is geared towards creating a project, tasks and timelines. It literally took me just a few hours to create an entire project the first time I used it. I found it much more user-friendly than other online tools such as Smartsheet (which is a one-size fits all type of …

Our team uses ClickUp for task management. ClickUp has a Gantt chart feature, but it's based solely on the tasks we create in ClickUp, so in order to create a client-facing chart, we'd have to completely change the way we assign tasks to our internal team. We use TeamGantt for …
Chose TeamGantt
Smartsheet has a less intuitive interface, planning complex projects gets very cumbersome very quickly, and the overall aesthetic of the reports is of lower quality compared to TeamGantt.
Chose TeamGantt
I am unaware of whether or not we trialed any products similar to TeamGantt. Regardless, I have very few suggestions to improve TeamGantt. As a consequence, I can't imagine finding another software that would gave been seen as preferable. One could argue that products like Piped…
Chose TeamGantt
We have used products like Gantter as well as the two above and they all do basically the same thing. Cost was the biggest determining factor for us. They all looked pretty, functioned the same, and some had better integration... however we determined that for our team size, …
Chose TeamGantt
I like TeamGantt better than Project Gantt because it is easier to print which is super important. TeamGantt allows you to have many different users with the same account for free. My company does not pay for this resource so that was extremely important in making this …

TeamGantt
TeamGantt is wonderful for organizing long and short term projects that have lots of tasks and or people involved. I love that it's "in the cloud" so I can manage no matter where I am or what device I'm using. There is a mobile app that is quite easy to use and sized nicely for people who have trouble reading small/fine print. I find it to be a well-suited tool for ongoing projects where the tasks change weekly - I use it for my newsletter planning. You can assign and label tasks which is super convenient for me and my Team. All through the week we are making changes and suggestions in TeamGantt and as we get closer to publication day we mark the stories and objects as done so we know we will finish everything before our deadline.

  • Task assignment matrix is a bit clunky. It's a bit difficult to see distribution of work for each assignee, but not impossible.

I never interacted with them. That, in itself, I feel represents their quality. They made the resources available to me so that when I started to have a question, the answer was either right there for me, or easy to figure out without any trouble. So, I never felt the need!

Our team uses ClickUp for task management. ClickUp has a Gantt chart feature, but it's based solely on the tasks we create in ClickUp, so in order to create a client-facing chart, we'd have to completely change the way we assign tasks to our internal team. We use TeamGantt for the sole purpose of creating project plans and viewing project statuses at-a-glance. You might be able to use it for task management, but we don't.

Return on Investment
TeamGantt
  • TeamGantt has had an overall incredible return on investment.
  • In the past, we have tracked strategies/projects manually (MS Excel, etc.). Having a tool like TeamGantt has improved our efficiency greatly.
  • The ability to see where a project stands (intra-department) at-a-glance has improved our ability to observe statuses.
  • TeamGantt has definitely helped remind me to drive on projects that would normally have gone "stale."
