Adobe Acrobat Generally Works Well
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Adobe Acrobat is utilized for a wide range of use cases at my organization. It primarily is used in relation to the creation and management of PDFs for various forms and documents that are then uploaded or used across our digital web properties. We also use Adobe Acrobat for offline use cases such as PDFs that are then printed.
Pros
- Easy to edit PDFs and iterate on them
- Signature features work well and are easy to implement
- PDF templates are easy to start with and build upon
Cons
- Modifying the layout of PDFs can be a bit cumbersome
- Making multiple versions of the same PDF can be tedious
- I wish Adobe Acrobat had more flexibility in how you can customize PDFs for unique use cases.
Likelihood to Recommend
Adobe Acrobat is well suited for PDF creation and management, especially when it comes to basic forms and documents. However, it becomes a bit cumbersome to use when it comes to more complex use cases, especially when making more custom documents or when you have to make many slightly different versions of the same document.
