Setup was a bit confusing
There isn't an obvious option to declining the 401(k) plan
No automated emails or mail stubs by default

Easy to use
Easy to implement
Great for gathering needed tax and payroll information (deductions, benefits, etc.)

Cons

Doesn't automatically pull tracked time into software that is the only downside for our business model

Saves us time gathering needed information and puts it in a secure place
A little pricey but you get a good return for your money
Allows you to gather credit card info of clients and securely save them for reoccurring purchases which is great for us

Pros

They actually make the payments to the tax agencies for you, you don't have to manually do that yourself.
It does all the calculations of how much to withhold and pay for taxes for everyone.
It has certain reports and saves the employee tax information for everyone within the platform.

Cons

It would be nice if the interface was more "modern" looking.
It's very difficult to log into since they don't use a regular login, you have to use an ID number which is hard to remember.
Their pricing is not clear, it's hard to understand why you're paying whatever you are paying and how often they charge you.

Return on Investment

It saves us dozens of hours a year compared to making the payments and calculations ourselves.
We pay roughly $80-$150/month, we would pay almost double if we didn't have a special discount.
Payroll is relatively quick and easy to run.

Pros

We are given a good lead time on deadline for payroll. It is easily manageable.
Customer Service is one of the best. I enjoy speaking with a real person.
They have been in the business of doing payroll for years and are extremely dependable.

Cons

Happens rarely, but sometimes Customer Service has to look up an answer. I would prefer they simply upgrade my call to someone who knows the answer.
If you are going through a huge company change, let them know ahead of time so you can get a timeline of when changes should and can be done. Implementation of a new company takes considerable time.
Offer more LIVE webinars to get more interaction. Listening to webinars, not so exciting and you can't ask questions while you are listening.

Ability to get payroll processed quickly and efficiently
Ability to convert payroll to almost 100% direct deposit which means no internal payroll checks, leads to cost savings
Excellent reports from ADP regarding all payroll functions and costs

Pros

Reporting capabilities. It is straightforward and simple.
The financial impact is small compared to having to implement multiple systems and or outsource to an accounting firm.
ADP is the "Best in Class". No other provider of like services remotely compares.

Cons

I have found nothing difficult in using the service. Any question(s) are easily answered by one of the many professional ADP personnel.

Nothing but positive from my perception. I researched several ADP-like firms years ago when setting up our payroll.
