Welcome to the Akazio archive demo! Today we're going to take a quick look at how easy it is to get started with archiving and searching of RingCentral SMS and call data, using Akazio's new Cloud Archive Lite Platform.

Akazio's archive enables organizations of any size to easily capture the communication data generated by their employees and customers into a single cloud location, where it can be securely retained to satisfy regulators, or internal audit departments, and searched across to assist with sales training, GDPR requests, or legal disputes.

For larger firms that operate in a regulated industry, Akazio also offers a fully-featured compliance and monitoring solution with integrated workflows for supervision and legal discovery.

And while we'll be demonstrating RingCentral archiving capabilities today, Akazio can also capture data from email, Slack, Teams (and many other sources) into one unified archive, and allows search and export across them all.

After you sign up for a subscription, you'll get given access to a modern web app that lets you configure your archiving preferences, link to your data sources, and lets you use Akazio's advanced search functionality to interrogate both the content of your communication data, and the metadata associated with it.

First off, we have to choose a retention period for the archive. The period length you'll choose will depend on the industry you're in, and your reasons for archiving in the first place. If you need it, you can also elect to keep your data in tamper-proof worm storage for additional data integrity guarantees.

Now that we've selected how long to keep our data for, we can connect the archive to our RingCentral account. This way we'll journal SMS and call data for all our users into the archive.
And setting up the connector is as easy as installing the Akazio journaling app on your RingCentral account. There are some extra configuration options that we'll skip for now.

Back on the dashboard page, and we can see that everything looks a little bit sparse - but if we jump ahead a couple of days, you can see that call and SMS data has started to feed into the platform. Users can check the volume of data being captured here, as well as the overall amount stored in their archive.

The dashboard is also a good place to start searching through all your data. Use simple key words, or a Google-style search syntax, to identify communications in which you're interested. For example, anything that contains the word "overdue" or the phrase "late payment". Matching records will be displayed in a familiar layout, and selecting one will award you with a preview of the record, and specific information on why it matched.

If you have more information concerning your search, you can filter the results even further by combining the query with Akazio's advanced search, maybe by selecting SMS messages only sent by a particular number.

Alternatively, for call data, you might want to only search for accepted calls that are over 5 minutes long, in a particular date range. Again, selecting the record will reward the user with a preview of the call, and the option of playing it back, right in the app.
