We need an all-encompassing solution that does both OS updates and third party updates in accordance to a vulnerability management policy so that Criticals, Highs, Medium and Low CVEs get resolved in time. We also need large OS support across Windows, MacOS and many Linux distros. By enforcing patching remotely through Automox we can also oversee installed software and also set certain security configurations through worklets. Automox provides great coverage of reporting as well as easy management of all devices through easy to understand policy management.

It is quite platform agnostic so it fits many scenarios, and has great support across all platforms. It may be less appropriate a solution if you are looking for further controls such as MDM or access control. The worklets are really helpful for all sorts of different use cases including automation that you would not immediately think something like Automox can do out of the box.

We use Automox for automated patch management for our whole organisation, managing and patching our endpoints.

Automox has helped us reduce security vulnerabilities with automated patching being deployed with minimal manual intervention. This has helped us reduce the number of vulnerabilities that are susceptible for an attacker to exploit.

Automox has been easy to deploy with a large scope of endpoints across many operating companies in our organisation.

For a large organisation it has been highly beneficial to streamline all our endpoints into one automated patching solution across our group. This has allowed ease of management, policy creation and deployment saving countless hours while also mitigating vulnerabilities through patching. I would highly recommend Automox for it's ease of deployment and overall patching solution to any organisation.

We use Automox as our endpoint management and patching system for all our workstations and servers. It's cloud based, and a lightweight agent is installed on all devices and is rolled out organization wide.

It solves the problem of patching and inventory management for all our remote and hybrid endpoints.

Automox works well for organizations of all sizes, which have a mix of remote, hybrid and endpoints. Setting up Automox is easy and requires limited administrative tasks and personnel. Automated patching is a key strength of Automox. Vulnerability reports can be imported and matched to endpoints, making it easy to remediate.

We as a company need to be Cyber Security Plus compliant, therefore we need to ensure that our devices are patched regularly. Having over 250 devices, making sure all those devices are updated manually is very difficult. Automox allows me to push updates across the organization via one portal. I then can allow updates to be pushed through an Agent that then updates all devices affected. This allows our tenable reports to be in SLA standards.

I was able to update browsera like edge and chrome which have updates every few days, automatically. No more emails to ask people to update edge or chrome. Display drivers and dell drivers are not visible for users, having Automox update them make it much easier for users as not all of the users are technical.

We use Automox for our patch management primarily, but it is also extremely useful as an asset management system too.

Through its patch management, we've been able to ensure that all our end points are kept up to date with the latest software. We also have the ability to use Powershell within Automox to push out new softwares and remove old ones.

It's excellent when it comes to patch management. We have all our patches (per OU) set up to run on different days, and get detailed reports on which patches have failed and for what reason. We've also been able to push out windows 11 via Automox too, which for a business with a lot of users, makes live so much easier.

We use Automox for patching and remote controlling devices if an issue where to arise. This means we have full control of sending out updates and seeing what issues devices might be having. We also use the dashboard for helpful information into what devices are critical and need updating and patches.

We use Automox as our primary RMM tool. It handles all of our 3rd party patching on our endpoints and has just recently took the place of WSUS as our server OS patching tool of choice. Automox saves us so much time every day that it has paid for itself in IT hours within the first year of use.

Automox is great for handling OS and 3rd party application patching. It is able to easier take a huge burden off of what was once a pretty problematic or time consuming process. I do not have a lot of experience with with using Automox for functions outside of those two workloads but the minimal things i have used customs worklets for it has done fine.

Automate pushing updates for our tools across all our forest, simplify the manage of our devices. Allow us to get a big picture how the status of all the systems and we can quickly make changes, deploying new tools is esaier than ever. the remote desktop features allow access to our technicians for a quick look and resolve any issue remotely.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you have a large headcount of devices, Automox assist you to keep your system upto date, you can set policies for any particular app or system update, categorize users by group, you can check log files also for troubleshooting. Automox don't support mobile devices, so is your organization have Smartphones and tablets that needs to be under management, this is not your solution.

We have a pretty sizeable number of mobile clients and trying to get those devices in house on a regular basis was problematic. Automox enabled us to be able to automate a lot of software patching and maintenance that reduced exposure windows and enabled employees to continue to work without the inconvenience of having to bring their devices to the office for patching and updating.

The product is well positioned to assist IT teams with device maintenance in environments where mobility is predominant. It is especially helpful for disparate systems. It does have some overlap with Intune and that could compete for prioritization of policies and updates.

We need a centralized patching and OS patching tool that can also enable us to enhance our vulnerability remediation capabilities. We also wanted a tool that was lightweight and not too intrusive on the user experience. We are a scale-up tech company that requires real-time patching and OS patching, while also having the flexibility to deploy worklets and scripts to support users.

Likelihood to Recommend

Smaller organisations such as ourselves, who have outgrown their MSP but still need to retain control of their system and have visibility of the estate. The tool enables us to have real-time visibility and deploy or remediate as needed. We have also purchased Rapid7, which integrates natively into the product, making it a more powerful tool moving forward.
