Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We switched to Ceipal ATS about 6 months ago from iCIMS. The change in systems was fueled by the low pricing and the capabilities sold to us during the sales pitch and demos provided by the Ceipal ATS team.

Cons

System lagging
Customization options severely lacking and not what is described on their website
Getting Solutions to any issues is incredibly challenging
Poor customer service
Ceipal ATS text message platform disappears messages after 24 hours
Emails sent through the platform do not deliver to candidate inboxes
They were unable to migrate any of our recruiting workflow history from our previous ATS. They said they could not transfer the data with the way iCIMS provided it
Serious foundational issues. What type of ATS cannot send bulk emails or text messages successfully??

Moving to Ceipal ATS was the worst decision we made at the organization I work for. The data loss, lies sold to us from their team, the inability to send emails and text messages successfully, the reporting limitations, the career site limitations across industry and categories… all of it… is quite possibly the biggest Mistake we have made. This horrible platform quite possibly will sink the organization i work for.

i have been using Ceipal ATS since more than 2 years it helps me to find candidates. we can able to check candidate details and their profile by their work history. It is really very useful and very easy to use i would definitely recommend to others so that it would make there work easy.

Cons

Hard search the candidate to use in emails
Need to show Atleast 200 applicant for each page
Very hard to find perticular location based candidate

Ceipal has worked wonders in our organization. Its candidate management and job creation made most of our work easy and efficient; the AI part is very helpful as well. Initially we worked on Job Diva, it was a complex tool to use and even more complex to teach to a fresher, but Ceipal ATS is very easy to learn, thus we save a lot on training sessions.

Pros

Creating new clients and managing vendor lists is made easy with Ceipal
Creating a new candidate and managing the data of total candidates is very easy
Submitting a candidate to a particular job or multiple is very easy with Ceipal
its most amazing feature is highly customizable approach, we can customize according to our needs.

Cons

While creating a placement, the order in which country and zip code show makes no sense.
If we enter zip code first and then country, then the zip code vanishes, and if we want to fill country first we have to scroll down then scroll up for zip code
It automatically logs off a user, and they have to re-login again and again.
Often few users id gets deactivated automatically and as a admin I have to reactivate it again and again.

Likelihood to Recommend

Candidate, job, client, and vendor management is very easy with Ceipal, and its highly configurable feature helps our organisation a lot. It is very easy to learn to navigate as well; even a fresher can also master it in a couple of days.

Where it lags is its customer service; they do not provide prompt support and qucik resolutions.

I am using Ceipal ATS more than 7 years and the support team is very helpful on the business changes what we requested. We need more improvement in reports and Dashboards. Also have issue on Dice integrated portal where we are getting lot of cooked up resumes. AI features is working fine and integrated search sometime not giving proper result. Also in internal Database search need improvement

I am the admin of our ATS portal - Ceipal. I mostly use it to review the submissions from recruiters and add client details to our databse. I also, take care of the training, so I explain the usage of Ceipal ATS to other employees as well. Before Ceipal ATS, database handling was very difficult and was not streamlined, the previous software had lagging issue as well. With Ceipal fluency and its high customize option helped us to work more efficiently while keeping our database safe.

Pros

The submission process is very easy with Ceipal
Tagging and submitting multiple candidates is very quick and easy
The database of candidates is well kept and highly accessible
Adding new clients, jobs and candidates is very quick and easy

Cons

While creating a placement, the country option and zip code option is highly inaligned; it could be worked upon by dev team
Sometimes, it automatically logs off the user and asks to relogin. This has been faced by my organisation, Business Integra (People Integra), multiple times
Few of the users get automatically deactivated from the ATS; we have to go and reactivate them again and again.

It has an extensive database and multiple job boards for candidate searches, making it user-friendly. It identifies candidates who are 90% suitable, helping recruiters save a significant amount of time. Ceipal ATS offers many features, and the location specification filters are particularly useful for specific searches. Only essential details are included in the resume, which is more than enough to initiate contact with the candidate.

I am Ceipal ATS user in my organization and I use it for my daily office work for Staffing and IT Recruitment related work. It solve our work by adding multiple job portal at the same place and maintained our database fantastically to solve our business problems. It has a lot of scope because we can use multiple job portal at the same place so we can search diverse profile through this platform.

Pros

Ceipal ATS maintains our company database so well that we can fetch the required resumes at our will.
Switching between tabs and submission format is so well-organized.
Adding multiple job portals at the same place is so appreciable that we can search different resumes with different technologies with ease.
Posting urgent requirements through Ceipal ATS posting is quite easy.
The requirement blasting feature is so good to use to connect with multiple sales and employers at the same time.

Cons

Ceipal ATS is so fantastic that finding mistakes is so rare. But there should always be a scope for improvement, as here you can add more fluency between tabs while switching.
Making UI more feature-rich and definitely, it's a time for AI so adding features with Artificial Intelligence would be really appreciable.
Sometimes, only sometimes Ceipal ATS used to work slowly when the Internet speed is a little slow. So, if possible, make it work smoother even when the Internet speed is a bit slow.

Suppose when we get few different requirements from our sales to find candidates with different technologies and we have less time to cover it. At that time Ceipal ATS is very useful as we can find different set of resumes with various skillsets which suits our requirement and are submittable to the client. Because there are different job portals at the same place to find different resume for different requirements. Sometimes it feels it working slow when Internet speed is a little slow so it can be refined a little to work smoother when internet is slow.

We use Ceipal ATS for Sourcing, Hunting, Searching the candidate based upon the requirement as per client needs, It has internal database which others from my team will not use the other paid portal once we are migrated from the others portal like Monster, Dice. We often use internal database mostly rather than the others.

Pros

Easy to Learn and understand how to use the Ceipal ATS
Free job posting which is available in Ceipal ATS.
able to view the usage report , So that we can redeem our usage on daily basics.

Cons

Please allow the user to upload their submission with full details like their Salary, Rate Location and years of Experience, Without these profile Ceipal ATS need to reject the candidate profile for Submission.
There is some flaws while search using skills with Boolean search, Profile will display at the top of the page, looks the recruiter will open the profile, while open the resume no skills have been matched as per our Boolean search.
Customization of ATS have to be done by the user, I Think Admin will only access the change the customization Settings.

At 2019 I had used Job diva for Profile search and Internal database one of my friends from different companies will say about Ceipal ATS is very easy to migrate the profiles, where we can use Monster, Dice and career builder as in one page. After that our company has purchased Ceipal ATS in at mid of 2020. Upon using the Ceipal ATS it very much comfortable than Job Diva. I will refer or suggests if anyone asks for Suggestion to procure Ceipal ATS for Recruitment industry
