What is Chatmeter?

Chatmeter is a local SEO platform that helps enterprise retail brands and agencies managing multiple locations, from the company of the same name in San Diego. Chatmeter also provides social media monitoring for brand reputation management, including trending hashtags, post and follower growth tracking, as well as geo-location tracking.

Great tool for managing GMB profiles and online reputation

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Chatmeter to aggregate our Google Business Profiles for our various locations and manage our reviews/reputation.

Pros

  • Track reviews by location and companywide.
  • Respond to reviews promptly.
  • Quickly compare and contrast review performance by quarter, year or all-time by location or across the whole company.

Cons

  • The AI response tool is helpful, but should not be used without tweaks.
  • Some review platforms do not allow responding from within Chatmeter.
  • The social dashboards are not up-to-date with relevant metrics. Some posts show zero engagement when in reality, it has over 100 likes and 30 shares.
