We use Cisco Spaces to gain real-time visibility and intelligence across our office Wi-Fi infrastructure. It helps us monitor device presence our terminals. The platform centralizes analytics and automation, which significantly reduces troubleshooting time. I like the design and simplicity to showcase the monitoring to management. It's perfect Cisco Meraki add-on.
Cisco Spaces is ideal for environments where real-time visibility is essential, such as large offices, warehouses, or terminals needing occupancy analytics, heatmaps, and device tracking. It’s especially well suited for companies using Cisco Meraki or Catalyst infrastructure, where integration is seamless. it’s even appropriate for very small sites with minimal Wi-Fi density.
We are working on implementing Cisco Spaces from both wayfinding within buildings, but also for its environmental sensor displays using Cisco's latest version of AP's. To be able to overlay temperature and Air quality in not only the office space, but also the our manufacturing area is very exciting.
Anytime you have a desire to do location tracking this is the tool to use at a large scale. The captive portal options are fantastic. The new option of converting CAD maps to 3D digital maps is great! If you have a very small deployment you may be better of sticking with a meraki solution.
In our organization, we use Cisco Spaces for Collaboration in developing ways to improve the workplace
I think I am likely to recommend Cisco Spaces to a colleague because of, in my opinion, Cisco Spaces' Ease of use and response time
Primary use case is for space occupancy. We're using Cisco Spaces to monitor and measure floor occupancy based on Wi-FI data, for individual meeting rooms we are also using it to visualize and display current occupancy. Cisco Spaces is also integrated with our Meraki Dashboard, so environmental sensor data for all offices is displayed in the digital rich map.
Cisco Spaces works very well in environment which utilize Cisco infrastructure for wireless and collaboration devices. Its support for 3rd party sensors is improving, but would still like to see it better. Beside occupancy use case, it works very well also for location services, locating equipment and people withing the infrastructure.
We use Cisco Spaces to track and locate endpoints and FRID tags.
I find Cisco Spaces usefully during endpoints and FRID tags tracking. It is also easy to configure.
Best regardsCisco Spaces is used in our organization to receive statistics on visits and their duration, between buildings and entry to our parking lot.We use the platform to measure temperatures and humidity. We measured the vibe of some locations. We also take references from noise, Co2 etc etc. With IoT Explorer we locate devices such as laptops or fixed assets. And with Portal Captive we are about to launch this service for the Hospital's public networks.Cisco Spaces is definitely a fairly complete technological ecosystem that we must take advantage of.
Great and innovative tool !
Than you so much!
It is suitable in all scenarios according to my experience to date, except for RTLS against some brands of tags.
With the trademark Minew, the tags don´t working good, this is a issues for my organization.
Cisco Spaces is a very useful tool that we use to monitor our meeting room availability, occupancy, and environmental status, including temperature, CO2 levels, and humidity. It also helps with wayfinding, especially for visitors.

We use it for the space experience features. This allows our in person students the ability to locate what classroom that they will need to be in for the week saving hustle on that front. As well as allowing our remote workers the ability to come into office and find a place to work.
I love using it with the integration with webex for both calling and meetings
The overall experience has been excellent. Was easy to setup and implement and it's been stable
Floor occupancy
We use it for Location services and history. We are also authentication guests by Guest authentication service available in Cisco Spaces. Guests get one time password for 2nd factor authentication. We also use Cisco Spaces engagement services to send welcome back message to our guests once them come back to premises. We have integrated some sensors for people counting in meeting rooms.
