Red Falcon in Review!

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Red Flacon to process orders that come over from our customers. Red Falcon helps streamline that process, allows us to store multiple clients and customers, creates special pricing between clients, and keeps everything organized. It integrates with our QuickBooks as well.

Pros

  • Customer Service
  • Easy to navigate Dashboard
  • Easy to use platform

Cons

  • It would be nice to be able to turn on/off certain features. Like in our packing slip area there is extra data attached to the picking ticket. It would be nice for users who don't like that to be able to turn that off. Or likewise, with other features.

Likelihood to Recommend

Red Falcon is the only program I have used that does everything it does for us. I find it easy to navigate the program and import or update data.

I really like the favorites tab on the toolbar. It makes the flow much easier. It would be nice to have more customization options with the tool bar or with how or what data is presented on the packing slip screen.

Overall I think Red Falcon is a great program - and I'm sure I've only scratched the surface of what can be achieved.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have government customers and they order on our website hosted by Red Falcon and we are able to transmit the orders directly to our two wholesalers from our online management tool. It also gives us the option to see our pricing from both wholesalers without having to log into each of their sites.

Pros

  • Inventory Stock Check
  • Wholesale Pricing Cost for Each Wholesaler
  • Invoicing directly to our Quickbooks Online

Cons

  • Callback times
  • Implementation with various types of systems
  • Out of Stock Items sometimes cancel in our system

Likelihood to Recommend

We like the fact that we are able to offer our customers a professional online presence so that we can compete with the big box stores and the Amazon's of the Office Supply world. I like being able to log into the back office to see our respective pricing from both SP Richards and Essendant.

Red Falcon helps run Businesses Efficiently

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used the product to set up landing pages for our customers to order IT related products like servers, laptops, and keyboards. We work with over 300 clients, so it can be difficult to keep track of invoicing for all of them. Red Falcon helps with invoicing and also sending order forms to our Wholesale partners when clients request new computers and hardware.

Pros

  • There is good training and support to help learn the product
  • Makes it easy for staff to manage inventory and see what we have in stock for hardware and computers.
  • Integrates with many of the Wholesalers we use right out of the box.

Cons

  • The price is steep in comparison to competitors
  • Executive Summary Reports should include all pertinent data in just a few pages to show where we are at with inventory and sales.
  • When looking at vendors, I can't find what the minimum buy quantities would be.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you run a small to medium sized business and need a way to track inventory and wholesale orders, Red Falcon is great. It is easy for the guys in the warehouse to use and keep all of our categories updated so we can make sure the website is always accurate. The website also integrates well with actual inventory so customers never feel like the product is late in shipping.
