Thankfully we are grandfathered into their more affordable pricing scheme, but I had to steer away from Eventbrite on a different project because the features I needed were pay-walled behind a... … If you have a low attendance event or don't need to verify a guest's payment status, then you can find more affordable registration/RSVP solutions.

I rarely use Eventbrite for events that cost more than $100 because they charge entirely too much money. … The price Cvent charged and the value they delivered for these events were preferred.

It's worth the price per ticket, and passing off the Eventbrite fees to the customer/donor seems to work really well. … We've seen a 300% increase in monthly visitors to our organization, which has translated to about $100,000 in annual revenue.

If you have multiple price points but a limited amount that you are able to sell, you must modify the subsequent price point ticket availability to reduce overselling the event.

As a producer of events with average ticket price of $500, this really hurt cash flow, as we have huge expenses before the event such as venue rental, video crews, our event platform, etc..

After a preliminary "exploration" stage of trial versions - Eventbrite just seemed to be the best platform for automating processes, saving us time, easiest to learn and adapt to, cost efficiency and... … Overall, it smoothed out the workflow for us, was a great save of time, and was cost-effective for what we need to do.
