What is Fabric?

Fabric is a headless commerce suite built to support business growth through digital sales, that includes products that support ecommerce activities. To achieve this, Fabric built XM, a digital experience platform that provides business users a platform to build experiences to support omnichannel commerce. Developers can also implement agile design by creating reusable design components and using one set of data and APIs for every channel. Fabric Storefront is a digital storefront software that can be used to create a new storefront in a day and make changes across an e-commerce site.

With the Fabric suite of e-commerce APIs, users can separate the frontend of sales channels (i.e. heads) from backend systems. This lets the user scale commerce and adopt agile practices necessary to create personalized shopping experiences anywhere.

Fabric also provides a suite of ancillary tools or products to complete the buildout of a total ecommerce ecosystem, with integratable components:

-Fabric has also built a PIM, a product information management software that enables users to import, enhance, and organize product information that people need to make fast, informed buying decisions. Users can then distribute product data wherever customers are.

-Fabric has also built Offers. With the Fabric pricing and promotions software, the user can scale pricing optimization and promotional offers across an infinite number of products and product categories.

-Fabric also offers Member, a loyalty management system (LMS) that helps users build brand loyalty and make shopping less transactional and more experiential, to turn customers into brand advocates.

-To support a post-purchase experience that delivers on promises made related to stock count and shipping speed, Fabric built OMS; it is an order management system software that enables users to connect orders, inventory, and warehouses to deliver products as fast as possible and inspire repeat purchases.

-In Fabric Subscriptions, the seller can use the subscription interface inside Fabric to create recurring payment options across products and channels. The user can also offer people a discount for choosing the subscription option. This feature lets the user securely collect payments and ship products on a recurring basis—without requiring repetitive activity from customers.

Founded in 2017, Fabric is on a mission to unite content and commerce, and boasts a combined 50+ years of experience in roles at familiar tech companies such as Google, Amazon, eBay, Staples, and Groupon,in creating solutions that support modern digital commerce, and are backed by VCs such as Redpoint, Sierra Ventures, Norwest, and others who support digital commerce innovations.
