I use it to keep a backup of Office 365. The use is friendly and very fast. The connector is simple with O365. The scope is the preservation of data and backup. Recovering the deleted file is very simple and fast. The user experience is perfect for an administrator user. Very good software on the cloud.

Perfect for backup & restore in the world of O365. Simple, fast , linear, Compliance. Many sections for all data. Backup integrity, coverage, snapshot available, monitored cloud connection. All-in-one dash, perfect for an administrator. It is not appropriate for all software; it is only for O365 and Salesforce.

We currently use Keepit to back up our Microsoft 365 tenant. In addition to standard data backups, we use Keepit’s Advanced Entra ID features to protect our cloud identities. This includes regular backups of Entra ID objects, Intune settings, compliance policies, and configuration policies, helping ensure we can recover critical security and management settings if needed.

We originally purchased Keepit for Microsoft 365 backups, but quickly added the Entra ID Advanced license to extend protection to our cloud identities. We soon found the product very effective, especially with cross-tenant restores, which makes M&A work much easier. We also used it to recover deleted users and Intune policies after an admin error, restoring access and settings quickly without data loss.

We use it to keep our OneDrive documents and data backed up, securing our files in any cases of data loss that might happen to us in this modern digital landscape. This is of paramount importance for us to maintain operational continuity and for us to maintain compliance with certifications and requirements from local regulatory bodies.

Thankfully we have not had to utilize the data backups, they instead provide peace of mind and ensure that we can maintain continuity if needed.

We use Keepit to back up our entire Microsoft 365 environment. This includes users and shared mailboxes , sharepoint sites, onedrive accounts and Microsoft Teams Channels. The primairy business problem it addresses is the risk of data loss due to accidental deletion, ransomware, retention policy gaps or just malicious activity. While Microsoft provides retention, it does not provide a comprehensive backup solution.

Likelihood to Recommend

Accidental deletion. We've had multiple reports of loss of data due to deletion beyond the retention point of M365. It's easy and fast to recover those files from Keepit.

Employee offboarding. When an employee leaves, we can retain and access their mailbox and onedrive long term without the need for an active M365 license.

Full Office 365 backup, Teams, Entra, InTune, Sharepoint &amp; Onedrive, complete backups. As we moved more services over to O365 we found that we needed a backup solution not only for piece of mind but also to correct users mistakes when they misplace or delete files by accident

We use Keepit for a cloud to cloud backup of our M365 mailboxes, SharePoint Online data, Microsoft Teams and channels as well as for our Active Directory policies. For us it is a longterm backup of our Microsoft cloud data with easy recovery functionality. We just use Keepit exclusively for backup purposes.

For our purposes of cloud data backup of Microsoft Office, SharePoint Online, and Teams data, as well as for Active Directory policies and settings, it works perfectly. I am not aware of any use case where it would not be suitable.

I have had a great experience using Keepit to back up our M365 tenant. I have used it multiple times to restore data and have never experienced any delays or data loss. My most common use case is restoring data for users who have left the company and we need access to their OneDrive Data

A few years ago, we were converting from on-premises user storage (network drives for group and user PC shares) to Office 365 (SharePoint and OneDrive). Microsoft's default 90-day backup policy was insufficient because it does not provide backups after user offboarding or for long-term restore requests. KeepIT offered that functionality.

Likelihood to Recommend

KeepiT is there when you need it, and hopefully you don't need it much. We've had a few compliance-related requests and long-term recovery needs for crucial data.

My company uses the Microsoft Azure DevOps Backup and recovery solution of Keepit. It's a smooth and easy to use SaaS-solution. The implementation took only around 10 minutes. It's great that it ensures data sovereignty in EU-Compliance, storing data in Frankfurt Germany. Most coolest feature I like as an admin is that you are able to look native in the webbrowser the backup data files. Other backup SaaS-Solutions like AvePoint doesn't offer this. Also Keepit has a easy to look on product roadmap what new features will come in future.
