Overall Satisfaction with Keepit
We used Keepit to backup and restore O365 and Salesforce clouds for more than 5 years now.
Clouder's are not responsible for data lost so Keepit is our main backup/disaster recovery plan.
All data are stored in Europe out of Microsoft and SalesForce datacenter, so we can restore files, emails in every scenario.
Pros
- Backup all data from 0365 (Mailbox, EntraID, Sharepoint, Teams, ...)
- Pricing include unlimited storage for each licence
- No time limit for data storage (retention)
- Data store in sovereign place
- Keepit follow Microsoft and Salesforce API to stay up to date
Cons
- Delegation for different IT Team is difficult to setup
- Rules in multi tenant environnement is not easy to manage
- Certificates and Secrets are not saved in Azure Application
- Backup of online files is mandatory. Replace on premise files server by cloud providers do not include backup/restore.
- Keepit avoid licence software for migrating data from one tenant to another.
- With a solid backup solution we can be more agressive to clean up your files and avoid buying more space.
To respect the best practices and to keep your infrastructure up-to-date you need to clean up your environment very often and sometimes you erase or delete important object or files so Keepit help you to restore them. It's essential to trust your availability to restore files and objects of your environment.
We restore AD Objects, files from Onedrive or SharePoint or emails every day so our users really appreciate the service and our IT Team do not loose to many time to deliver it. And by using the service every day we are confident that we will be reay in case of a disaster.
