This the platform which Turned our Performance review in to Growth Engine

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have been using Lattice since last 2-3 years and found much user friendly application for sharing updates, promoting new features and collecting team reviews. Its very useful for team's point of view, specially when critical decision needs to be made.beyond the Performance management and employee ratings, Lattice is very nice in setting up reminders for tasks and recognition.I love most is that it keeps everyone connected to the team.

Pros

  • Conducting Performance Reviews
  • Feedback Sessions
  • Team Alignment and Trust
  • Community Engagement

Cons

  • I feel cost is higher for smaller organizations as per their needs and strength.
  • subgroup level privacy could be more under the main group

Likelihood to Recommend

Lattice is a powerful user friendly platform which build Culture of feedback and appreciations. it is very easy to install and integrate with other applications. Lattice is a really great tool for performance review, goal setting and OKR tracking. i only find cons related to pricing for smaller teams or startups

My go to for one to ones and reviews.

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Lattice for all my direct reports' 1-1s. Lattice templates help create action items and track talking points between meetings. The Slack integration works well and reminds me of important notes and talking points going into these meetings. I also appreciate that I can make changes to existing templates or create my own to tailor notes to each individual and meeting.

Pros

  • Customization for individual meetings and one to ones.
  • Reminders for important tasks and upcoming one to ones.
  • Ability to request feedback and provide quality reviews.

Cons

  • I’d love to see an option for forms or fillable templates. My direct reports have to copy and paste parts of my templates to fill out specific information.
  • Easier access to summaries of previous one-to-ones. I would love to see a quick summary of previous meetings without having to toggle to the meeting itself.

Likelihood to Recommend

Lattice is great for individual reviews and keeping everyone on track for one-on-ones. I’d love to see more options to customize templates and make the one to one process more collaborative. I’d also love to see an option to help summarize previous meetings and one-on-ones.

Can't beat Lattice for Talent Management

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Lattice as our HRIS, payroll processor, and talent management platform. We use performance reviews, engagement surveys, goal setting and tracking, compensation reviews and benchmarking, and career and personal development. It helps combine employment, performance, compensation, and attrition data so we can better understand company culture and performance patterns, plan for leadership development, and track individual success towards overall company objectives.

Pros

  • Lattice is super intuitive to use. I never forget about tasks or let reviews fall through the cracks.
  • I love Lattice's 1x1 agenda format. I can easily keep track of talking points and action items.
  • Lattice makes review routing and anonymous surveys a piece of cake. I can choose my anonymity thresholds and I'm never worried about names showing up or the wrong employee receiving the wrong review results back.

Cons

  • Payroll is missing a couple helpful features like ability for employees to submit expenses/expense reports
  • I wish Lattice had an in-house ATS, but the integration with Greenhouse is pretty solid
  • I wish time tracking had ability to allocate time/costs to projects or grants (particularly helpful for non-profits)

Likelihood to Recommend

- Lattice is important infrastructure for orgs that are scaling quickly and need the ability to better administer talent and performance programs

- Lattice saves HR teams soooo much time (from the AI agent who answers HR questions, to the automated onboarding and offboarding processes.

- Lattice is not great for very small orgs that don't have growth plans. (Engagement surveys can't be anonymous if there are too few EEs, there is a minimum contract amount, and it's quite a lot of tool/system).

Easy to navigate and map out your career goals

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Lattice for feedback, 1:1's and performance reviews.

Pros

  • Ease of use.
  • Reminder's enabled in Slack.
  • Organization.

Cons

  • History of 1:1's you can use for next 1:1.
  • How to use your feedback to turn into growth.
  • Time estimates on performance review, survey's.

Likelihood to Recommend

Lattice is very well versed in all things with performance and goals, but it is a separate program from the rest I work in; it would be nice to be able to integrate it into other programs I work out of more frequently. I do enjoy being able to have a program where I can track my goals and job growth.

No longer see the value

Rating: 1 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used Lattice for OKR tracking and also 1:1s with individual contributors, management, and senior leadership. We no longer use the OKR tracking function because of the limitations Lattice has that can be easily overcome by just using spreadsheet software. Most of the people I have 1:1 meetings with have complaints about the functionality of Lattice.

Pros

  • Tracking discussion items in 1:1 meetings
  • Tracking action items in 1:1 meetings
  • Tracking due dates for action items in 1:1 meetings

Cons

  • There's no ability to search through old 1:1 meeting notes aside from manually going through each one
  • Everything that's completed in the past is basically gone. There's no easy way to go back and see how your team has grown
  • You can only add notes for the next 1:1 meeting, you can't make a note for something further in the future. You have to make an action item for that

Likelihood to Recommend

Lattice is a very inconvenient tool for managing 1:1 meetings with your team. Using a Google Doc is better because it integrates with action items and calendar events. Lattice can synch to your calendar, but that's where the benefits end. There's no search function to look at old 1:1s. You would need to click through each meeting one at a time to find what you're looking for.

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Lattice for team and individual goal setting, viewing the company-wide organization chart, providing feedback to employees and annual performance reviews. Lattice has been a great tool to help track goals, implement personal growth and complete performance reviews. The software is very basic, but user-friendly and easy to use.

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • View historical reviews and feedback
  • Organization chart

Cons

  • More functionality, very basic
  • Better way to track progress on goals throughout the year
  • Org chart should be able to house more data

Likelihood to Recommend

Lattice has been a great software and accomplishes all the issues we need it to. It is a very basic but user-friendly software. The interface is clean, and it's easy to print goals and performance reviews. We primarily use Lattice to complete our annual performance reviews, and provide necessary feedback to the appropriate employees.

Lattice for Goal Metrics

Rating: 3 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Lattice is used for internal communication regarding goals and progression of goals on an individual contributor and team level. In addition to tracking goals, Lattice is used for weekly meetings with managers and directors. Each user can also update leadership on recent successes, challenges, and items they would like to improve upon.

Pros

  • Tracks information
  • Accessibility for users
  • integrations with other software

Cons

  • Organization of information
  • notifications to users
  • Difficult to navigate the depths of uses

Likelihood to Recommend

Lattice is great at showing goals and tracking them, but is fairly challenging for some users (like myself) to navigate and to know exactly where to update information. All of the goals can be linked together but seems to be confusing how to ensure that you are updating the correct information and if it will be connected to someone else's goals.

A versatile product streamlining your internal company engagement

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Lattice to write and submit bi-annual self-reviews,as well as tracking my annual goals. Talking points and takeaways from my one on one meetings with my boss. Giving public recognition to colleagues. To view colleagues' work anniversaries and birthdays. And a space to plan and capture progress on my career development.

Pros

  • clean simple user interface. easy to navigate and i like the homepage
  • Lattice has done several updates over the years. continuing to give the product more value based on customer feedback
  • i get reminders in slack and email when someone submits public recognition within our company, and about my talking points/feedback from my manager

Cons

  • i'd like to see additional integrations with Lattice so takeaways and feedback from my manager are translated into word or excel or sent to my email
  • id like to see calendar feature to view everyone's birthdays and work anniversaries at once, with the option to send reminders me via email for those on my team a couple days before
  • id like more data to be accessible in Lattice, like our onboarding documentation, holiday calendar, pay schedule etc.

Likelihood to Recommend

As a company we use Lattice weekly. It is really great place to give recognition so the whole company can see shoutouts to colleagues who are working hard without it being an email or slack, although we have Lattice set up so it automatically goes to a dedicated slack channel called "praise". It is where my manager and i collaborate on my strength and weakness for career development as well as plan for the upcoming week on my to do list.
