Not your everyday candidate search

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

LinkedIn Talent hub allows me to search for candidates with a specific skill set. By using the functions provided, I am able to search for keywords, and find candidates who may not be on other search engines, such as Indeed, or actively looking for another position. I am able to "cold call" people and at least put my companies' names in their mind.

Pros

  • Search Engine
  • Job Specific Details
  • Large Candidate Possibilities

Cons

  • More Entry Level Candidates
  • Further Reach

Likelihood to Recommend

LinkedIn Talent Hub is well suited for my higher position that require a certain skillset. I am almost always guaranteed to find PGY-1 or PGY-2 Residents on LinkedIn, open to new opportunities. On the other hand, I find it hard to find some of my other positions that don't require a 4-year degree. The people with those skillsets aren't always on LinkedIn, like they are Indeed or Glassdoor.

The tool where everyone is at anyways.

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The whole organization is utilizing LinkedIn Talent Hub. Its a great tool for locating a lot of information about a candidate, as well as of course locating a candidate. Easy to use, which is nice. Don't have to spend a lot of time figuring it out as most people are accustom to how LinkedIn works. Great tool as LinkedIn is one of the go to places for many job seekers.

Pros

  • Ease of use
  • Locating talent
  • Become one of the industry standards.

Cons

  • Layout of the job. Depending on the job format, some of the information may not appear at first glance to users.
  • Would like more options for company branding, more unique.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you need a lot of talent, and are looking for good source pool, this is a great option. Certainly LinkedIn is the defacto location of professional profiles. However, if you are on a tight budget, might not be the best option. However, easy to use, as previously mentioned, a place with an abundance of update to date professional contacts/profiles.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

LinkedIn Talent Hub is used across the whole organization for hiring resources. The business problem that it addresses is mainly verifying and validating the authenticity of candidates. Of all the people applying for the job, LinkedIn had always been my way of verifying the candidate is genuine. Now with job posting on LinkedIn, it serves as a single platform to search, verify, and recruit the resources for my team.

Pros

  • Single platform for job posting, verification and recruitment
  • Easy to manage applicants
  • Easy scheduling of interviews

Cons

  • Still there are a lot of people who aren't actively looking on LinkedIn; employers may miss out on those candidates
  • Single-click application for a job with an attachment of the resume

LinkedIn Talent Hub makes hiring easier!

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

LinkedIn Talent Hub is a great platform to be able to manage the pipeline for an interview process and prospecting. Our team uses it to be able to manage the HR process as a whole. Only those who are involved in the hiring process use this software, though everyone is familiar with LinkedIn to some extent because we use it quite often. It helps us to manage the hiring pipeline.

Pros

  • Pipeline management
  • Applicant process
  • Interviewing

Cons

  • User interface
  • Interview process
  • messaging

Likelihood to Recommend

LinkedIn Talent Hub is well suited for any process that you need to hire someone. It is simple and easy to use for the entire hiring process. Almost every organization should use it if you hire people because it is popular among individuals looking for a position, so it is easy to drive relevant leads to your job postings.

Swiss Army Knife of Recruiting

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

LinkedIn Talent Hub is primarily used by the Talent Acquisition team in our organization. It has enabled our hiring process to be very streamlined and one can do every step of the hiring process without leaving LinkedIn Talent Hub. It saves a lot of time, effort and money as one doesn't need to juggle between multiple tools for job posting, searching relevant candidates, conducting interviews over video calls and finally even rolling out offer letters from within the tool. So it makes the life easy for the recruitment team and provides a lot of insights which helps to hire the right candidate.

Pros

  • It has access to data and insights from one of the world's largest talent pool with accurate information.
  • User Interface is really sharp and intuitive.
  • Interviews can be scheduled from the tool itself and it also connects with Outlook and Gmail for ease of communication.

Cons

  • Price should be rationalized as it's way too expensive right now.
  • Training and time is required for the people to get used to this. So there is a not so steep learning curve.
  • The entire system feels very rigid. It doesn't allow any customizations or flexibility as per the requirements of each organization or recruiter.

Likelihood to Recommend

LinkedIn Talent Hub is primarily suited for larger organizations as it is expensive and pricing doesn't have any differentiation as of now. So larger organizations (primarily service based) where hiring is a critical and resource intensive function will benefit the most from it. Also, it can make sense for very small organizations who don't have proper recruitment team and hiring is also taken care by the line manager.

Advertising to Hiring all in one location!

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Talent Hub has helped us create one location for all things recruiting. We no longer have to log into an email and then separate places to post advertisements and follow up with candidates. One location for everything!!

Pros

  • One place to manage your job search.
  • Source, manage, and hire all in one location!!
  • Easy to read reports that show how long a job has been posted.
  • Easy way to reach out to the potential candidates within Talent Hub.
  • Easy to store and copy information for new job posts.

Likelihood to Recommend

Talent Hub is more suited for a recruiting department and smaller businesses like ours might find it less feasible. However, we have found that the software will allow us to be more efficient and that saves us time and money in the long run. Other, smaller businesses that do not do more than 5 hires a year might not find it valuable.

Easy to use and super helpful

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My organization uses LinkedIn Talent Hub to find contract employees. We do a lot of hiring and contracts usually only last 12-18 months, so we are constantly looking for new talent. The talent team looks for people with similar skill sets to the ones we need, or people who have experience within our industry, to fill various rolls throughout our many departments.

Pros

  • Finding talent.
  • Easy to use.
  • Great filters.

Cons

  • Slightly pricey.
  • Web version would be nice.

Likelihood to Recommend

LinkedIn Talent Hub is great for companies that are constantly growing and bringing in new talent. If you do a lot of hiring, this is a great place to start. I would not recommend to smaller companies or those with low budgets, because it is a paid feature and only really pays off if you hire often.

LinkedIn's solution for efficient candidate selection

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

LinkedIn Talent Hub is being used mostly by the HR department and heads of interested teams in charge of recruiting/selecting candidates. This solution addresses the lack of professional candidates for specific positions, using Linkedin's rich database to provide accurate resources that fit our recruiting needs and involve them in our selection process.

Pros

  • Candidate search/tracking
  • Learning portal for training
  • Easy-to-access and intuitive platform

Cons

  • Pricing
  • Integration with ERP not possible
  • Pipelines need too many manual entries

Likelihood to Recommend

I believe that LinkedIn Talent Hub is well suited specifically for the times that we are living with the COVID-19 situation, where the search for professional candidates with specific skills is now more virtual than ever. In our case, candidates for remote positions can be located throughout the entire LinkedIn network based on their career/expertise instead of just location.

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

LinkedIn Talent Hub is a great tool for keeping track of everything that we do for our HR process. It helps us manage the entire pipeline from prospecting all the way to hiring. Only a select few of our team members use this software in order to help us easily onboard new hires, but it helps to make the whole process more efficient.

Pros

  • Organization
  • Hiring Pipeline
  • Managing interviews

Cons

  • Interface could be better
  • customer support could be better
  • interview scheduling

Likelihood to Recommend

LinkedIn Talent Hub is well suited for anybody who wants to simplify the hiring process and make the application process easier. Almost everybody could benefit from this software if they hire people. If your team does not hire anybody at all, then you may not need this software, but otherwise it is very helpful.
