Track emails with Mailtrack

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

<div><div>Mailtrack is amazing, it enables us to see if our prospects have read the emails we sent or reaching the spam folders instead. We send bulk emails to our prospects. It also allows us to send bulk email from most of the email platforms even Gmail and how many of them are opened.

</div></div>

Pros

  • Email tracking
  • Bulk emails
  • Easy to use

Cons

  • Free trail does not have much of features.

Likelihood to Recommend

This is the best tool for our marketing team on their day-to-day tasks. They do not have to call each and every person on the list. Simply send bulk emails and confirm the receipt of emails, after which the pitch is done. This process saves loads of time and effort.

Email tracker which seemlessly integrates with Gmail

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use it to see if people read emails I sent. This is an important tool to know if leads are receiving the emails I am sending or if they are reaching their spam folder. If I see they are receiving and opening - it allows me to continue sending information via email.

Pros

  • Track emails
  • Lets you know how many times someone has read the email
  • Allows you to see if someone forwarded your email
  • Integrates easily with Gmail

Cons

  • More details regarding if they forwarded the email - how many people received after
  • Spam
  • Selling information
  • Others can see what you are doing

Likelihood to Recommend

It is critical in Sales to understand if someone received and read the email you sent, and Mailtrack is perfect for this.

It is not a critical tool when you are receiving emails but definitely a critical tool when sending emails and you need to know the status and to understand if they even read what you sent.

A good alternative to Boomerang for Gmail.

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Mailtrack is mainly just used by the Commercial Sales team at the moment. It is being trialed as an alternative to Boomerang.

Within Sales, it is very important to be able to keep track of who read emails vs who didn't in order to prioritise your day. By using Mailtrack, we are able to see if a particular email is "hot" or not for example, giving invaluable insight into the situation.

Pros

  • Summaries of all emails sent.
  • Snooze functions.
  • Hot topic (when read or forwarded many times).

Cons

  • Would like to be able to specify when the snooze should be activated until. Right now only 2 options. 24h or 48h.

Likelihood to Recommend

For sales people to be able to follow up we need to know if the email was actually read or not. When it has not been read we don't even need to worry about following up yet.

My take on Mailtrack (free version)

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Mailtrack is used by account managers who are in contact with clients (including myself). Since we are only using the free version, Mailtrack mainly helps us track if our emails were read or not. We do not necessarily need it for our internal communication.

Pros

  • Tracks if emails were opened.
  • Tracks how many times emails were read.
  • Notifies when emails were not opened at all.

Cons

  • The free version is very limited.
  • Sometimes, it does not work on phones.
  • It should be able to define who opened the email in case it was sent to many people.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you work in sales or you are prospecting clients, I believe that Mailtrack is very useful, as it keeps you updated on the status of your sent emails (if they were opened or not, and how many times, etc.). However, the free version can be tricky since you always need to remove the signature of Mailtrack manually, and in case you don't, you might seem unprofessional.

This product is very useful and easy to use

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In general, [Mailtrack] is useful and great. I use it to know if my customer checked my email with proposals. I used Mailtrack with my Gmail and it [was] super helpful. It allows you to track your emails, see who and when they read them which really helps me keep track and organize my schedule and work.

Pros

  • Live tracking
  • Cheap
  • Accurate
  • Fast

Likelihood to Recommend

[Mailtrack] works pretty well for tracking opens. That's really all I ask of it, and for the most part, it has filled that job pretty well. I mostly get the notifications, and once I refigure out the mobile part to be working again then it should do that job pretty well across all platforms.

Mailtrack: The best solution for communication tracking (especially Sales)

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Mailtrack provides a highly reliable means to check on your communication and keep tabs on what has been read and if the customer needs to be reminded about the communication. Mailtrack has made our operations more efficient by highlighting Clientele which needs attention.

Pros

  • Mail tracking.
  • Immediate notification on communication.
  • Reminders if mails have been read or not.
  • Notifies if email is from an old conversation.

Cons

  • None.

Likelihood to Recommend

Extremely well suited for all Departments and scenarios irrespective of the nature of the message.

Mailtrack has improved our overall ROI and is an amazing tool for anyone who does email outreach!

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I've used Mailtrack for several years over the course of my career. Currently, my sales team is using Mailtrack for their sales outreach and we have seen huge success since implementing Mailtrack! This allows my sales team to see which emails are being opened, which are being fowarded or opened multiple times (<b>hot lead!</b>) or have not been opened after multiple tries which means they should try a new contact. This also helps us with our approaches, by knowing which emails we send are getting opened and which are not. It allows us to A/B test different subjects and improve our overall open rates.

Pros

  • Gives us updates on each email their status
  • Alert us of a "hot lead" if an email is opened multiple times or forwarded

Cons

  • I wish it could track who the emails are being forwarded to
  • Wish it could tell if the email was deleted (unread is kinda vague).

Likelihood to Recommend

Great for sales and account management, where followups are required. Mainly for those reaching out to people outside of your organization.

Not applicable for people in your org who mostly contact others within the org.

Mailtrack review

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is being used across the whole organization. It's very important that we know if our emails have been sent to the right emails, and Mailtrack really helps with this. It's quite common that businesses don't have their emails updated in public registers so it's really useful that we have a tool to track what emails actually reached the right address.

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Fair price
  • Beginner friendly
  • Immediate feedback knowing if the email was delivered.

Cons

  • Some of the settings can be confusing at first.
  • Some alerts are on by default and can be annoying at times.
  • Good to know if the email was deleted.
  • It would be great to know how much time recipients spent on each email.

Likelihood to Recommend

Mailtrack is well suited to my colleagues. For us, it's very important to know if mail reached its recipient. We use it when we send invitations for our events, projects, etc. When using the non-pro version, the label looks kinda out of place, as an incentive to buy the pro version.

Mailtrack lowers your stress by tracking your emails

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I personally use Mailtrack to track all my cold mails and/or my important conversations with my clients and colleagues. It's really useful to known in a blink if the mail is received, read, or whatever. The workflow isn't anymore stressful while waiting for an answer or an important information from a technical support.

Pros

  • Knows which state you are in
  • Get information about the quality of your mails
  • Clean up your workflow and your mind

Cons

  • Didn't see any API
  • Add more specific tracking objects like links, etc.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think it's appropriate when you need (or just want) to know if (and when) your mails are read, but if you don't really care or if it's just a comfort feature, it could be a bit expensive.

A Happy Mailtrack Customer!

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I personally use Mailtrack and it's great because it really helps me keep track of who's seen my emails. Not only that, but it'll also allow me to know how many times my email has been read, and in the number of minutes it was first seen after I sent my email. Furthermore, it also mentions the number of times the email has been forwarded.

Pros

  • How soon the email was seen.
  • The number of times the email was read.
  • How many times the email was forwarded.

Cons

  • The time at which the different emails were read.
  • Who the emails were forwarded to.
  • Not letting the other party know that I have Mailtrack.

Likelihood to Recommend

Like I mentioned before, I love the fact that Mailtrack offers a variety of options. The very first is that it specifies how many times your email has been read. Secondly, it tells you the number of times a specific email has been forwarded. Lastly, Mailtrack also lets you know how soon your email was read from the time it was sent.
