We currently use Mimecast Advanced Email Security for Anti Spam, Anti Spoofing and general email protection. Mimecast Advanced Email Security also provides URL checking, file checking and other useful tools which aid in our boundary e-mail protection.

Mimecast Advanced Email Security does provide a really good service from mail archiving and protection to backup email access in the event that our own mail service goes down. The capability it has to reduce the amount of spam and malicious email is really good too. We have seen additional improvements over time based on our feedback to them on the system that they provide.

We use Mimecast Advanced Email Security as our principal email gateway and it filters all mail and ensures only the mail with the highest levels of spam confidence get through. Spam and malicious emails remain and existential threat to all businesses and Mimecast Advanced Email Security has proven to be the most effective tool at the perimeter for shield us against email threats.

The best thing to say about it is that when it installed and configured it generally speaking needs little maintenance. As IT professionals we have many time pressures and it’s vital to have effective solutions that are low maintenance. When maintenance is required the admin console is easy to navigate through and menu shortcuts are intuitive and easy to control and configure.

We're using Mimecast Advanced Email Security as a secury E-mail Relay within our environment. It's protecting us by scanning all E-mails before they will be received on any of our E-mail servers. It's scanning on (potential) virussen, but also on Spam, Possible Phishing Emails and Email senders on blacklists. We're even let it check for SPF/DKIM/DMARC settings from the senders Domain. This has limited the amount of potential dangerous e-mails enormous!

Mimecast Advanced Email Security has lots of features which are very

useable by IT departments. Scanning E-mails on potential Threads, checks

on background from send and more. The Message Tracking is working very

good and it's pretty easy allow E_mails that were blocked first. The

SPF/DKIM/DMARC checks are very usefull and allows us to inform the

sender if somethings not fully correct.

Mimecast's advanced email security remains the number one security tool available for any organization. You will be ahead of the game before anything gets in and users start clicking. Users are often the ones who can disclose sensitive data and compromise the organization and its brand.

We use Mimecast as our primary email gateway for all incoming and outgoing traffic for the organization. The core features that we primarily use is the strong anti spam filtering, DKIM signing of all outgoing traffic, automatic addition of warning banner for external senders on the incoming emails, attachments and URL and QR protections, as well as impersonation protection.

Mimecast is a great solution for someone who needs to protect enterprise email communication with with minimum effort. The solution can be deployed in production within a matter of hours. Also it offers great integration for O365, but works well with custom mail infrastructures as well. I cannot think of a scenario where the solution wouldn't be applicable.

We previously used other email solutions but we had problems with false positives or not catching bad emails properly. We had to keep maintaining block lists, allow lists and other manual tasks. We went with Mimecast Advanced Email Security because of its AI-Powered net of who communicates with who looking for abnormal communications. It works extremely well and once Mimecast Advanced Email Security is up and running you do not need to babysit it all the time... it runs in the background doing a fantastic job. We have 500+ employees with native integration into Google. With the Gateway on the front end and the API's into Google for backend scanning and remediation... it covers you from all angles.

Mimecast Advanced Email Security has been great and looking at emails that come from new domains, known malicious sites as well as prompting employees randomly to verify a link when clicking on them. This will also do a last minute check of the URL to confirm if it is a known threat. The Google Integration is much better than other solutions we have looked at.

We use it for email scanning and filtering. It blocks a large number of phishing and spam emails and warns our users.

It is well suited for larger environments, less so for smaller companies.

After initially depending on O365 filters only we were consistently flooded with Spam and Phishing attacks regardless of how hard our security admin worked to respond. Through the use of Mimecast Advanced Email Security this has fallen to next to zero. Additionally, by tracing failed messages we were able to find misconfigurations in our environment which had been affecting our client service.
