The pricing scale has been great because pricing depends on the number of users in the system and we don't have to purchase a larger, more expensive system, as our department grows. … MIP is so cost effective and easy to use that when the organization doubled in size in terms of personnel and budget it was no question that we would be keeping MIP as our accounting system.

The cost of the product switched to a monthly fee which increased cost somewhat but probably is matched with IT savings over time in doing upgrades. … In Accounting - my area - we use it for Accounts Payable, partial Accounts Receivable (only non-patient A/R), Cash and Bank Reconciliations, Full GL, Financial Statements, and Budget.

I would like the ability to develop the budget within the software so it would be easier for variance analysis between current budget and new budget or current actuals vs proposed budget. …

Excellent budget tools, you can manage the budget with high precision and detail, you can add activities, expenditures, costs, personal involvement in the project and set the budget for each one. … It is a little expensive for small companies, to personal use or startup, because of that many people prefer to use a free software or with GNU license instead of Abila.
