What is Runframe?
Runframe is an incident management, on-call scheduling, and status page platform built for engineering teams at seed-to-Series C companies. It operates natively inside Slack, allowing teams to declare, manage, and resolve incidents without switching tools.
Incident Management:
Teams declare incidents with a single Slack command. Runframe automatically creates a dedicated channel, assigns responders based on severity, and tracks every status change in a structured timeline. Severity levels, roles (Incident Commander, Communication Lead), and stakeholder notifications are handled within the platform.
On-Call Scheduling:
Rotation management with automatic handoffs, escalation policies, and override support. Engineers receive pages via Slack DM and email. Follow-the-sun scheduling is supported for distributed teams.
Escalation Policies:
Multi-tier escalation ensures the right people are reached when initial responders don't acknowledge. Policies can be configured per service with customizable timeout windows.
Status Pages:
Status pages keep customers and internal stakeholders informed during incidents. Status updates sync automatically from incident state changes, reducing manual communication overhead.
Post-Incident Reviews:
Structured postmortem documents generated from incident timelines, reducing the manual effort of assembling what happened. Templates follow blameless postmortem practices.
Analytics:
Track MTTR, MTTA, incident frequency by severity, and responder workload distribution to identify operational bottlenecks.
Integrations:
Slack, Jira, Datadog, Prometheus, Amazon CloudWatch, Google Meet, email, and webhooks. A public API and MCP server are available for custom integrations and AI agent workflows.
