What is Wickr?
Wickr is a collaboration platform that provides secure messaging and file sharing for businesses and end-users. It ensures that conversations are only accessible to their intended audience and protected against cyber attacks. Wickr considers vetting and transparency to be a key elements of cybersecurity. Security Features
The platform uses a Zero Trust design to ensure that servers will not leak user communications if a data breach occurs. Communications are encrypted on devices and protected while traveling to recipients. This means that messages are undecipherable in transit, and Wickr will autodelete messages based on the time they were sent or read. Once the designated amount of time has passed, the data is replaced with random bits of code and can't be recovered. Wickr is equipped with advanced cryptography, specifically 256-bit end-to-end encryption. It protects every call, message, and file with a random encryption key. Wickr takes extra precautions by verifying the identity of anyone using your encryption key and enforcing strict data retention policies.
