Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 X Series

Virtual Office is used across the organization. Shortly after we implemented it in New York we suffered a major flood. Having VOO allowed our phones to be answered remotely and for staff to be able to make and receive calls seamlessly from their home. It is an important part of our disaster recovery plan.

  • “Presence” -Staff can see your availability.
  • The convenience of only giving out only 1 phone number while still being able to be reached on your mobile device.
  • The app doesn’t remember login info & doesn’t use touch ID.
  • Totally positive- we started with one location as a test and have now rolled it out to all 30 of our locations.
  • Makes moving phone service, when doing an office relocation, absolutely painless.
It can eliminate the need for a desk phone. It is perfect for business travelers and remote workers. It is a key part of any DRBC plan. One downside is that any rules have to be set up on the website - you can’t make changes to rules/settings on the fly from a mobile phone. There isn't an easy way to move while on a call from cell to a desk phone. We've also experienced dropped calls, depending on service.
