Overall Satisfaction with Abila MIP Fund Accounting
MIP Fund Accounting is the accounting system for the Catalina Island Conservancy. It is an excellent fit for our accounting needs. It is primarily used by our accounting department, but all department heads connect in as Executive View users to plan their budgets, etc.
Pros
- It is a very stable system. It installs and upgrades very easily.
- It is very well received by our users and can be customized to some extent (exports, etc.) by third parties.
- You can add "Executive View" users for non-accounting staff who need to work on budgets, etc. These do not use a regular full license.
Cons
- The only thing I can think of is perhaps expanding how it integrates with other software and peripherals.
We evolved to this from Platinum for Windows. This is much preferred.
