Overall Satisfaction with Absorb LMS

We mainly use Absorb LMS for compliance and manager training, and it’s been a great tool for us. It’s easy to use and very user-friendly, both for managers and employees.
One of the best things about it is how it uses AI to save time. It helps us create courses and quizzes quickly, and it can even handle everyday admin tasks, which takes a lot off our plates. The system also gives smart course suggestions to employees based on what they’re interested in and how they’re doing, which helps keep them on track with their goals.

Cons

  • The reminder feature for training modules does not seem to work properly.
  • The prompts for how to add your own content should be a little clearer. The pictures are nice but sometimes it's trial and error picking the correct options to add videos, slides, etc.
  • The filter feature can be updated to be more user-friendly. Sometimes I know I uploaded something and can't find it when I try to filter the offerings.

It is user-friendly from the employee side. However, I gave it a 9 because the folders to access some of the content are not easy to find sometimes. If it is an assigned course, it should be on the main page and employees should get an email reminder until it's complete. Currently, it does not do that.

Since we started using Absorb LMS, it’s really helped simplify and improve our training process. The AI features save us a lot of time by handling day-to-day admin tasks and making it easy to create courses and quizzes. It’s been especially helpful for compliance and manager training, which we use it for the most. Our employees get more personalized learning recommendations, which keeps them engaged and supports their growth. Overall, it’s made training easier to manage and more effective across the board.
Our account manager gets back to use right away. They are willing to schedule time at our convenience. We also have monthly training sessions to go over any issues with our file feed and user concerns. Everyone I speak to is very knowledgeable about their product and you can tell they are passionate their job and the customer service they provide.

We use it for compliance training for all our staff. It allows for easy tracking and reporting. We also use it for our manager training. We host HR related topics via a live webinar and then we upload the content to Absorb LMS so that people who may have missed the live webinar, can access at their leisure.
I think it's less appropriate for our staff to look through the library and pick their own courses since there are so many to choose from. I think managers and/or HR should curate a course plan and then allow employees to access it.
