Overall Satisfaction with Absorb LMS

Absorb LMS is used to house, track and report on training courses required to be completed by foster parents, domestic services and adoption services

Pros

  • The user specific course reporting. It is extremely easy to set filters based on the criteria you need to be included on reports, and then automate these reports as needed. This greatly reduces the manual work and presents data in a easy to digest format.
  • The overall UI. The system is easy to use across the entire platform. When setting requirements for courses, or tracking user activity. UI is intuitive, it presents following actions in a clearly easily digestible manner.
  • Absorb Academy. Absorb Academy and helpful links is full of helpful information and training videos which allows you to self-troubleshoot and gain additional information on the system

Cons

  • Linking External Trainings to Require Course Curriculums. Ideally there should be an easier way to link external trainings users have completed to their require trainings.
  • Absorb LMS has allowed Bethany to standardized our process around training. We are able to ensure that documents uploaded for course content follow a uniform pattern
  • We are also able to standardize the process in which credits are awarded and easily track these metrics, we want to ensure similar courses of similar length are awarded the same about of credits with give additional credibility to training programs
  • Audits- Absorb LMS has been an fantastic help in ensuring we remain complaint with our audits, we are able force compliance through the way we setup courses. Ensuring we meet industry standards.
I'm fairly new to Absorb LMS and it has been very easy getting up to speed with the usability within Absorb.

Arguably the best thing about Absorb. The LMS is fast, efficient, friendly and easy to navigate. They have been instrumental in my process for getting up to speed with Absorb.

Tracking active users and their roles. We have various users who need access to different levels of the systems, for example Admin, Managers, Trainers. Absorb LMS allows these roles to be easily grouped and there permissions can be easily configured. Absorb Mobile, can be difficult for individuals who are not as tech savvy to complete courses and view trainings
