Overall Satisfaction with Absorb LMS

Absorb LMS is used to host and manage both instructor-led and online training for external customers. By allowing external customers to access an engaging interface, users can attend training purchased by their organization. Absorb currently hosts nearly 100 eLearning modules and numerous instructor-led trainings for our organization. In return, ISM packages various training content to sell for people on the supply chain management sector.

Pros

  • From an admin perspective, course setup is easy and very intuitive.
  • Absorb Create, their eLearning development tool, is a great tool to help create eLearning in a quick manner.
  • The user interface is easy to use and doesn't confuse users.

Cons

  • Reporting features could be enhanced to ensure exact reporting details are covered.
  • Gamification features could be enhaced to truly engage the user with gaming features.
  • Absorb Create could include additional features to create interactive features in the training.
  • Learner engagement is improving consistently, due to the updates from feedback from users.
  • Sales of training is always a struggle, but the ease of use of Absorb helps to sell the products offered by ISM
  • Based on enhanced functionality of Absorb, user utilization and experience will benefit tremendously.
The ease of use of the user interface helps Absorb's overall usability score. Anytime a user has a bad experience with the user interface, it's hard for them to return. Absorb is simple and doesn't require much to determine how to navigate the user interface, and it return, that helps to engage and retain users.
  • Content Creation (Absorb Create)
Absorb Create and the AI feature has allowed me to speed up course development for certain projects. I still use other products (Articulate 360, Synthesia) for development, but adding Absorb Create to the tool kit has been tremendous for our organization. Especially using the AI feature and it's quick turn around, that has made a huge difference in the development of course.
I would give customer service support a 10. Our CSM, Maggie Stillman, offers such great support. Her guidance of Absorb has made the learning of the system so much easier and fun! In addition, working with other support members has been quick and resolved the issues I experienced. Overall, support has bee wonderful.

As an admin user, the learning curve to understand the features of Absorb was quick and easy. In addition, customer service has been excellent. Our CSM, Maggie Stillman, has helped to make understanding the ins and outs of Absorb so much easier. Her guidance has helped me to ensure I'm constantly learning, but up-to-date with the software.
