Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Absorb LMS addresses the educational needs of the organisation. Where education was once only targeted at nurses and doctors. Absorb LMS addresses education access to all staff. A good example - the grounds men can now access educational resources through the Absorb LMS to complete training such as BLS, etc. A proper LMS, such as Absorb LMS, aids our long-standing problem - data and tracking of staff who have been training or have completed certain education sessions, whether it is external or internal. Lastly, data, which was once a major challenge in the Health System, has now been tailored in Absorb LMS to be easily accessible.

Cons

Separation of the CPD Points per Year. Currently all CPD point are added together
Process of reversing and approving of course. For example, if I decline a certificate accidently. I am not able to toggle as system admin to change from Decline to approve.
For ILC session i cannot select multiple names and change their session dates especially if there are changes. I had to select one name at a time to change the session dates.

Boost staff confidence which is evident especially now we are preparing for accreditation
Give a different modality of learning instead of classroom and save cost and money

Usability

I rate it 10, since I am familiar with the system and able to obtain the information I require. It helps meet the KPI of the organisation and at the same time provides access to information and education. The Absorb LMS also provides a platform and opportunity to support staff performance and also a mean to provide evidence of perfomrance apprasial.

Absorb LMS Product Features

Content Creation (Absorb Create)

Content Creation is a feature that we have onboarded onto the Absorb LMS. It is a great feature in creating a short course that may not have been available in the Absorb LMS. It's cost-effective. Further, the feature allows the content creator to modify our Fiji setting creating that realsim learning on the Absorb LMS and where learns can relate too.

Support Rating

The support is great, and I believe the support provided by [...] and [...] contributed to the first-ever LMS for Health in Fiji being a successful project. The fortnightly support from the build-up for Absorb LMS, which took us under 2 months to launch the program, and till today has helped refine our skills in navigation of the Absorb LMS and knowing how to troubleshoot when we reach a roadblock.

I will highly recommend Absorb LMS for the following reasons:

1. Have that external support, such as [...] and [...], who have been providing support to us in Fiji
2. The versatility of the system of creating courses, where it is a single course, multiple courses through a course bundle or ILC.
3. Data generation is crucial at the senior level, and Absorb LMS is can provide that information for decision-making.
4. Additional features, such as Creat AI, where we can develop quick courses for staff.
