Overall Satisfaction with Absorb LMS

We use Absorb LMS to support our employees continuous development, which is one of our core values. We also use it to track compliance. I also take advantage of their Absorb Content as it gives us thousands of pre-built courses we can convert. Additionally, we use Create to design and deliver our own custom courses and I like how they are always improving it.

Pros

  • Create is a great tool!
  • They have a lot of report options
  • I like having the different Admin roles.

Cons

  • Reporting - I am currently not easily able to pull a report for incomplete required courses by category.
  • Engage - Getting the images and videos to display correctly is not easy. We gave up on using it.
  • Having to impersonate the learner to add an External Training.
  • Increased Compliance
  • Continuous Development
Overall its pretty good yet there have been some hiccups and normally I find the fix myself before support does.
  • Content Creation (Absorb Create)
  • Content Libraries (Absorb Amplify or 3rd Party Libraries)
Creating and converting relevant learnings for our employees.
Most times when I contact support, it has to be escalated up. Additionally, I either find the fix myself or give up.
