Overall Satisfaction with Absorb LMS

The Absorb LMS is utilized to conduct our New Hire and Compliance Training for our global employee group. The reporting feature allows us to track the courses for completion status and has been a useful tool in some recent audits. The system also enables us to deliver a consistent product via online training to our employees even though they are spread across the globe.

Pros

  • Ease of Use and an attractive platform for the learner with intuitively named buttons
  • Easy and fast course creation
  • Administration of the system can be likened to an excel spreadsheet with its filtering features
  • Translated courses and messaging for content in learner's native language.
  • Reports that are generated quickly and with data updated to the minute. This is unlike other systems that don't update their data but every 48 hours.

Cons

  • Would like to see Inactive courses removed from the Admin or Manager view when selecting course enrollments for learners.
  • Would love to have messaging in the learner's language based on language selected in their profile versus the language selected on the course. This way we could create one course or scorm file with a multilanguage feature on it versus having to create multiple courses, one for each language, so that the messaging will go out in the appropriate language.
  • Our Code of Conduct Completion rating is at 99.22% this year because of the combined reasons: Scheduled reminders sent via the Absorb system to the learner, Scheduled reports sent via the Absorb system to the course owner and to outstanding weekly training reports sent to each location via the training administrator.
Overall, the Absorb system has been an effective solution to meet the training needs of our global company. The solution is both user friendly from a learner and admin standpoint. The emailed reminders as well as the scheduled reports have increased training compliance. The language capabilities make it easy for our employees to take training in their native language. We our new users of the Absorb Create (Course Authoring Tool) feature, but thus far have used it to quickly create training content with audio. Especially useful is the ability to update training right in the platform without having to reupload edited files. The support team has been responsive and there are easy to find resources on the support site to aid with instruction on platform use.
  • Content Creation (Absorb Create)
The Absorb Create product was used to create training courses in 2025. Most were created by uploading a PPT and then adding audio via text to speech. I am still exploring the many features available in Create but I know that based on Absorb's dedication to continual enhancements there will probably be additional features to explore with the product in 2026.
Absorb support is very responsive. An email is generally received within 15 minutes of the ticket submission. In my experience, there is some hesitancy with Absorb support getting on a call with support from another company in the example of a SFTP versus emails back and forth. I believe scheduling the call sooner could resolve issues even more quickly.
Although Cornerstone was also suited for a global audience as well, Absorb is more user friendly than Cornerstone from a learner and admin perspective. The look of the Cornerstone platform was outdated with small font buttons with labels that were not intuitive. Cornerstone support was not as responsive as Absorb support. I also found Absorb to be more cost effective as well. In 2020 when we used Cornerstone, there was not a course authoring tool within the platform.

The Absorb system is effective especially if you have an employee group with a broad range of computer skills as the system is very user friendly. Our company ranges from skilled computer users to our plant employees that rarely utilize computers.
Companies with a global presence will find this system useful since it has the ability to provide training and messaging in a variety of languages.
Course creation is easy and convenient with the course authoring tool called Absorb Create that is within the platform. Courses can be created via multiple methods from uploading PPT, to recording your screen, using AI or creating a course from scratch utilizing the templates and tools provided in the product. Audio can be added to the presentation with simple text to speech.
