I use it to host our main site. This is for hosting our internet presence and linking to other company-owned resources. Doing so allows us to right-size the operational requirements as well as enhance the offering to our clients.

We are currently not taking advantage of this feature. Our site is a simple website setup to drive content views.

I can offload the burden of maintaining the infrastructure required to run the site on-prem. Furthermore, the hosting of the environment is left to the team that knows how to completely manage the Drupal platform and ensure that the hosting environment is taking advance of the features of the platform.
