Overall Satisfaction with Acronis Backup Cloud
Acronis Backup Cloud has been setup to provide our clients with an offsite private cloud backup solution.
- Powerful deduplication
- Fast (incremental) backup jobs
- Really intuitive
- To be honest, I can not find any shortfalls with the solution
- As a reseller of the solution, we have seen a great ROI.
- Clients making use of Acronis Backup Cloud via Gravit8, pay a monthly subscription which allows for the backing up of data and restoring if needed. As a value added, Gravit8 monitor backup jobs and re-run or resolve failed jobs. In the client's eyes, this makes it a critical element of their IT setup.
We seldom make use of Acronis support, but when we have they have been brilliant. All our engineers are Acronis certified, if they not able to resolve an issue, we touch base with our local Acronis supplier, Synapsys, who resolve issues 90% of the time.

Acronis Backup Cloud is well suited across the board. The only "restricting factor" is probably only applied in developing countries, such as South Africa, where ADSL internet connections are is still prevalent. These ADSL speeds seldom reach 6Mbps, so depending on incremental data changes, backup jobs may not complete in time for the start of the next working day. Having said that, we do have many clients on ADSL connections that have no problem with jobs completing.
