Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
We use Acumatica for projects, purchase orders, sales orders, payments to vendors, invoicing, account management, and expense reporting. The biggest problem we have is that our system isn't set up correctly in order for us to be able to optimize all of the tools that the software has in order to efficiently run the business. We're doing a lot of manual workarounds in order to work with the program rather than making the program work for us. And the biggest reason for that is lack of training during implementation so no one really knows how to use the system to our advantage.

- Customizing things, just because no one has the technical knowledge
- Having to go through a third party in order to get things configured
- Saved time on expense reporting- the field guys don't have to spend hours creating reports on Excel and saving all their receipts through the month
- Warehouse tracking is more efficient, keeping accurate inventory
- Getting rid of outside programs and being able to do everything all in one place saves money
Other
Being able to provide accurate timelines on when products are arriving and when projects can be implemented and installed. Providing progress billing to customers based on items and labor as it happens rather than having to wait until the project is finished to bill all at once.
We use different modules to create complex workflows and keep everything all in one place. The warehouse integrates with purchasing and sales to be able to see what's available- real time. We're able to build jobs and implement changes as they progress.
