Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

Recently, we did a pilot on this tool for our ERP and CRM use cases. As a mid-size firm, we wanted a low-cost, more customizable solution for our operations. The attributes that Acu offered were ideal for our use cases. We are happy with the pilot we did for our customer experience team, which helped provide the following: 1. Real-time data insights into our operations 2. Providing support in project management and tracking inventory for our planned dispatches.

Pros

  • It is ideal for customer relationship management, making decisions on incoming requests, and tracking inventory/operations-related tickets to give quick responses to the users.
  • Process automation- We have received multiple leads for our courses, which require follow-up, and we used a different standalone software earlier. With this tool, user compartmentalization happens better.

Cons

  • It is not as feature-rich as SAP and does not offer a comprehensive feature suite that suits all industry types and sizes.
  • The UI is good and intuitive even for nontechnical users however, if you require a more centralized view and get business contexts to it, it is difficult to find.
  • It is a pilot, it has led to improval in CSAT and reliability.
  • Our forecast has improved leading to lower inventory management cost.
  • Other metrics are flat.

As a conglomerate in the health tech industry, we have multiple operational excellence requirements across our product lines; Acumatica fits most of these, especially around the supply chain operation part.

1. Small business where you have a limited scope of requirement 2. It works well where the org does not want a very long learning curve and integration management and it is looking for a quick, effective, and cost-friendly solution.
