Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We use Acumatica as our financial and construction accounting system. Acumatica helps us interface with multiple systems, create customized reporting, and having access to our live data in real time.

Having everything customizable, allows us to present the any project or financial data that we want in any form we want.

Pros

  • Custom Generic Inquiries - the ability to manipulate and create reports in any way that we want
  • Interfacing with Velixo, allows us to build Dynamic, real time, excel based reports to manipulate and present data
  • Interfacing with multiple systems to allow us to automate our process and eliminate manual labor

Cons

  • Most of this will be fixed with 2025 R1 and the AI integration, but the navigation of the side or custom inquiries can appear overwhelming to new users
  • Time- either I a generic inquiry is running slow, or just processes as simple as importing a budget can take lots of time.
  • The ability to restart our own instance without reaching out to support. We would love to see one admin per company have the ability to do this
  • Positive impact is definitely the ability to customize our accounting data in any way possible. We have multiple ownership groups, some publicly traded, and report to banks constantly. The ability to format Reporting in any way needed is a huge plus
  • Acumatica and Velixo have saved our company so much time in what would be dozens of hours per property, per month in tedious tasks

Definitely for construction and manufacturing. It is a fantastic product for that

I am in the hospitality industry, and it may be too much of a system for our needs, but it has proven itself to be very valuable and well worth the investment.
